Serenity - vibrator by Evolved Novelties - review by Taylor

The Evolved Serenity is a great rabbit-style vibrator. It is a large, girthy toy with motors in both the shaft and the clitoral stimulator. There are 3 levels of vibration. It's waterproof, and you can clean it with soap and water or a toy cleaner.

It comes in a nice tin which is actually quite large, and you could fit a couple of other toys in there if you wanted to. Inside the tin, there is a piece of paper asking you to go to the Evolved Novelties website. At their website, you can register your toy and they will give you a warranty for up to a year if any of the materials were defective. So that is a nice plus if you want to take the time to do that.

The shaft of the toy is a little bit curved for g-spot stimulation. This didn't work for me because I need more pressure on my g-spot than a soft toy would be able to give. It still felt nice but wasn't able to get me over the edge that way, so it may not be enough g-spot stimulation for everybody. The clitoral stimulator is not a rabbit or any other animal shape. I know this does not matter to a lot of people, but for me it was a huge plus. There are swirls in both the shaft and the clitoral stimulator which adds a bit of texture to the toy.

Serenity is made from TPR, so it is less porous than many materials but not as safe as silicone or something like that. It is a dust magnet! So be sure to use either the tin that comes with it, or some other type of covering for storage, otherwise you are going to end up with a pretty gross looking toy.

The toy is VERY flexible. I was able to twist the toy 180 degrees around and probably could have gone further but didn't because I was afraid of damaging the wiring. Because of this, I feel like it would be suitable for many people as it could adapt to different body shapes. I was concerned about the size when I first used it since I hadn't really tried a larger toy before, but I had no problems and I attribute that to the softness/flexibility of the toy.

It is waterproof. I tried it in the bathtub, the shower and washing it in the sink and I've had no problems. I would double check to make sure the battery case is tight before you try and take it in the tub though.

I would say it's middle of the road noise-wise. You won't wake up the neighbors, but it's not exactly silent either. I could easily hear it from across the room, but I could barely hear it through a closed door and I have great hearing. If there was any white noise at all, people won't be able to hear it through a closed door.

Serenity runs on 2 AA batteries. It's a moderately powerful toy in my opinion. It goes through batteries pretty quickly in my opinion, but that may be because I tended to use it on the higher settings.

Overall I'd say the Serenity is a great value. I believe you more than get your moneys worth and get some great features with this toy.
