Use

This is best used for G-spot pleasure. It is curved to hit a females g-spot. Anyone can use it, but females will get the most out of the shape. It can also be used as a clit vibrator. It would be one expensive bullet though. The vibrations can be felt throughout the toy, not in just one location. This is a pretty powerful vibrator.

It is not waterproof, so you will want to keep it away from the shower, tub, hot tub, and pool. Also do not use silicone lube. Water based only please, unless you want to risk ruining your Gigi.

Material / Texture

This is made of silicone and ABS. Both the silicone and ABS have no smell of taste to them. The gig also does not have any texture, it is smooth from the tip to the base. The way this is used at our house, it does not need any texture. We just insert it and let the vibrations tease and pleasure her g-spot. But if you are one that would include thrusting in your sexual play, the lack of texture might be a con for you.

The silicone has a smooth velvety feel to it. With the addition of lubrication, it feels wonderful against your skin. It glides along very well with just a drop or two of lube. Remember to only use water based lube, or you could risk damaging your gigi.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

This is designed like the typical g-spot shaped toy. the tip is curved upward toward your g-spot when inserted inside the vagina. When I first opened the box, I was a little taken back by the small nature of the gigi. But then I remembered this was for g-spot pleasure, and not for thrusting like a standard dildo or vibrator.

This is a very stiff and hard vibrator. There is no give at all to the shaft. If you choose to use this for thrusting of any kind, be careful as it could bruise and/or cause pain to your naughty bits.

This has an overall length of 6 1/2 inches. The insertable portion is about 3 1/2 inches long. The insertable portion is made of silicone. The base portion is made of ABS. The diameter at the head is just under 1 1/2 inches, then it tapers down to a diameter of 1 1/8 inches. There is a 1/2 wide metal ring between the silicone and ABS.

There is no visible seem in the silicone portion. However, the ABS portion has a pretty good sized seem running down both sides of the handle. There is also a seem on top and bottom of the metal ring dividing the silicone from the ABS.

This has just the right curve to hit my wife's g-spot. Of course everybody's body is different, so it might not be as perfect for you as it is for us.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The re-chargeable lithium ion battery takes about 30 minutes to re-charge. We get enough play time for 2 sessions, without sensing any lose in power. I would guess somewhere around the 1 1/2 mark, as I have not timed the usage. The lighted circle around the control button flashes when it is plugged in and charging. It will light up steadily when fully charged. This should not be plugged in for longer then 24 hours. You could risk damaging the battery. The charging port is covered with a silicone cover to help keep debris from getting inside.

The vibration functions are controlled by a four function dial button. You push and hold the +/- sides to change the strength of the vibrations. The up and down buttons cycle through the different functions. There are 5 to choose from. And 10 different intensity settings on the vibrations. The five different settings are
-steady vibrations
-slow pulse vibrations
-medium pulse vibrations
-fast pulse vibrations
-wave vibrations (weak vibrations to powerful vibrations back down to weak vibrations, repeat)

So with the 5 settings and 10 power settings, you get 50 different combination's to play with and enjoy. Everyone should be able to find a setting that floats their boat.
    • Multiple settings
    • Powerful
    • Rechargeable

Care and Maintenance

The lifespan of your Gigi will greatly increase with proper maintenance and care. Wash the stem with warm water and antibacterial soap, rinse with clean hot water and pat dry with a lint free cloth or towel. Avoid submerging and getting water into the DC socket or around the interface dial. Never use cleansers containing alcohol, petrol or acetone.

The packaging works wonders for storage also. There is a spot of the charger, if you do not want to leave it plugged into an outlet. The box has a nice tray with a cutout that fits the shape of your Gigi perfectly. We keep out Gigi inside the box, in our drawer besides the bed for easy access.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Like stated above, the Gig comes in a heavy duty cardboard box. The lid lifts off the base. It has a lift lid in one corner of the box, for storage of the charger and the instruction booklet. The Gigi comes with a satin bag for storage. We keep ours inside the satin bag, sitting inside the box. I would keep the box for storage. It will help separate your toys from each other, plus help keep it clean.

Lelo includes a booklet with instructions on charging, functions, and caring for your Gigi. It also comes with a sample packet of lube.
    • Good for storage
    • Not discreet
    • Recyclable

Personal comments

We like our gigi. It does what it is designed to do, pleasure my wife's g-spot. It should, for the price tag it has. I see this being around for many years to come.
Follow-up commentary
this is still going strong, no problems to date. I think this will be going strong for years. It is powerful, and has enough verity to keep her attention. If you don't own one, do your self a favor and get one.

Does your wife have a favorite vibration pattern? This does seem like a pretty expensive toy just for g-spotting, but its ability to recharge comes at a price premium. Thanks for the review.

actually though i'm working on my review right now- yes for internal stimulation it was a bit uncomfortable unless i rocked it against my pubic bone. I can only take like 4 max 5 inches inserted and though i was initially drooling over the shape on the tip it felt the same as when you're having sex and your cervix gets bruised- except it wasn't against my cervix. its quite hard and has little give to it though the silicone is quite nice. I used it more on my clit and she seemed to enjoy the vibrations(shrug)

    • How easy is the Gigi- G Spot Vibrators to use during sex?
    • I think it's more of a solo toy. You should look at the We vibes.

I think it works pretty well for this purpose. I use it simultaneously with a dildo all the time. Is it the best for this purpose? I would say you'd be better off using a smaller vibrator such as the Lelo Siri which is another personal favorite of mine during piv sex. Although it is pretty easy to use the Gigi. Works in all positions where your body isn't completely pressed against a surface or your partner's body. You'll need to give a little space in between you and your partner to fit the toy but it still works really well.

  • Lelo Gigi - Using a Condom or Not
    • I have recently bought the Gigi vibrator from LELO.

For my first use, I used a condom to cover the Gigi (the brand I used is Lifestyles Studded). After removing the condom, I noticed that the lubricant, from the inside the condom, left a kind of oily residue on the Gigi. I tried to use my toy cleaner to remove it, but I am slightly worried

I am worried that the lubricant from this condom is not water-based. Now, I have a few questions that I was unable to research answers to.

      1) Was the condom I used water-based?
      2) Have I ruined my new Gigi?
      3) Is it best to use a condom on the Gigi or not?

Any advice/help will be much appreciated.

      - Dr. Manhattan
    • From what I can find via Google, it looks like the lubricant in that condom isn't a silicone lubricant so it should be okay.

Lubricant Ingredients: Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Phenonip, Carbomer

I don't think you're ruined anything. If you're concerned you might want to try to find a different type of condom that leaves less residue. I have no suggestions because almost all condoms irritate me and since I'm fluid bonded with my partner we don't use them.

What would you recommend to clean the Gigi? I currently have a toy cleaner called "Swiss Navy."

Will using soap and water be bad for the Gigi? At least just for the silicone part of the vibrator?

    • Is the product worth the price ????
    • I'm pretty sure we answered a similar set of questions about the pros and cons of expensive vibrators.
    • Quote: Is the product worth the price ????
Absolutely!! I bought mine a couple years ago after (literally) melting my previous one. Between the cost of having to replace my vibrators and the batteries constantly, I went for it and have no regrets!! Gigi is a regular part of our sex life! However, I use it only for cliteral stimulation (which works for me) so I can't speak if you are interested in G-spot usage.
The one drawback is I've found that I tend to hit the speed controls during use. Otherwise, the warranty is great (though i've never had one problem with it), it's easy to keep clean and store, and I LOVE that it's rechargable.
      Enjoy!

I highly recommend the Gigi for G-spot play. It's firm enough to stimulate it with the amount of pressure needed, but velvety enough to not be too much. Additionally the vibration settings I found to be ideal for pressing against my G-spot. Just have a towel ready!
    • Quote: I'd like to try a g-spot vib, but i dont know if this should be the one to buy...Any comments?
I would recommend the Gigi for g-spot play. I will point out though that if you have a g-spot that is on the further side in terms of depth in the vagina, or if like me your vaginal canal has a sharp curve to it then you should look for a toy that is longer than the Gigi. I love the Gigi as a clitoral vibrator but based on my anatomy it didn't do much for me as a g-spot stimulator. Take your anatomy into consideration before you buy a toy for g-spot play. If you are like me and think you'll need a more lengthy toy try the G-Spot Pink glass stimulator. I'm currently working on a review for that toy and it is a personal favorite of mine.

  • Charging Gigi in the UK
    • FiredrakeNemmy
So uh, my gf lives across the pond in England and I wanted to get a little something to bring her next I go visit.

She really likes the use of the Gigi vibrator but I'm worried about the charging of the toy, I learned to be wary of such things when I blew out the power to my Wii :X

But anyways, if anyone who has one could kindly take a look at the allowed voltages I would really appreciate it. The voltage info can usually be found on the charger itself ( a bunch of random numbers and such and has that UL logo ) Does it list the Input as 100V-240V or just something around 100V?

      Thanks!

They're good for 100-240V. I charged mine while living abroad just fine.
    • The charger I have with mine has the 100V-240V range.

You might also look at getting a charger specifically for using the Gigi in England.

  • To Buy or Not to Buy....
    • My 22nd birthday is coming up which means birthday monies <3 I'm trying to see if I can orgasm with my gspot but haven't had any luck. I've been close but no beans yet. I'm debating getting this to see if it'll work for me, plus I'm trying to go off birth control, it's made my sex drive completely dissappear after 2 years of being on it, not to mention making me depressed, moody, etc.

Anyway, would this be recommended? Where's the vibration, though? More in the shaft towards the buttons or more at the tip? And is it plenty strong? (I need strong vibrations.)

I'll have to order at a time my dad won't be home, though, and make sure it arrives when he's at work--how embarassing it'd be for me for him to find out I have toys!

  • is the gigi a good starter g-spot vibe?
    • My friend Lee's birthday is coming up and ever since I told her about female ejaculation and what it is and that I can do it, she's been trying to find everything about it and is really interested in a g-spot vibrator, but she doesn't really like the way most vibrators feel with vibrations. To her, they feel like an "Oh, there's something vibrating in my ladyparts but it's doing nothing for me." So, my question is, is the Gigi different in that sense that the vibrations have some "variety" to them and they're not so monotonous? I'd love to get her the Gigi for her birthday and have heard nothing but great things about it.

My Gigi is on its way, so I'm not much help there... Although, whenever I read about female ejaculation the Ella is usually involved.

It doesn't vibrate, but you may want to check it out.

Miss KissThis totally beat me to the punch! If it has to vibrate and you want to be able to use it for clitoral stimulation, Gigi is great. But if you're on a lower budget and only want g-spot stimulation, the Ella is one of this forum's favorite dildos.

  • Best G-spot vibrator. Which one to pick?
    • Rachell25
LELO has presented a couple of very well designed G-spot vibrators, like Gigi, Liv and Elise, lately. Just looking at them makes me feel horny. They all have great features and different vibration modes and they are also rechargeable, so I can safe my money on batteries.
Gigi seems to be the toy of my dreams due to its well pronounced curved tip. I guess that will lead to a better contact with my G-spot.
Any ideas, suggestions, tips? Anything will do.

PS: Will Gigi make me squirt???
    • Rainbow
Wow... that looks really splendid, in fact, all of them do.
It looks like it's going to be my G-spot's best friend for ages.

That must be a bargain but it is kind of expensive for me at the moment but as soon as I can afford one I will surely have one in my toy box.
    • Siren
My dear, not every woman is able to "squirt", it depends on every woman's physiology but it is definitely going to send you to Seven's Heaven of Pleasure.
I own one, the Liv, and it's just terrible, in the good meaning of the word.
I can assure you, you made a perfect choice if you're looking for G-spot stimulation.
