Cleopatra's secret - cream discontinued by Classic Erotica - review by Airen Wolf

Sometimes you see a product that gets so many great reviews that you just have to go out and try it. I don't normally give much creedence to arousal creams but when the birth control I was on started to affect my libido I decided to give Cleopatra's Secret by Classic Erotica a try.


The product arrives in a plastic bottle with a pump type dispenser. The dispenser is a great one that doesn't leak when the bottle is turned on it's side and only dispenses a very small amount. This is exactly the correct amount as it turns out.

The bottle is very small only 1 fl. oz. That seems like such a small amount for the price until you realize that all you need is a pea sized amount. The product is supposed to 'enhance clitoral excitement' while intensifying 'orgasmic pleasure with a cool, tingly yet warm sensation' according to the bottle. Intriguing to say the least! It is also supposed to be excellent for oral sex, which is another benefit for me.


The ingredients are: Sunflower Oil, Glycerol Monosterate, Stearic Acid, Sorbitol, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Bensoate, Potassium Sorbate, Propylparaben, FD&C Colors, Flavors. A few sugars, preservatives and not much else! I purchased the Menthol flavor so I knew the flavor would be mint and I was right it is Mentha Pipperita or simple peppermint oil. The flavor is very similar to high end toothpaste with a very smooth finish, it is actually fairly pleasant tasting. It does leave a light tingle in the mouth but it also has an odd numbing effect that doesn't last beyond a few minutes. It isn't strong enough to deaden sensation, which would clearly do the opposite of what it is intended! The mint tastes fresh and causes the mouth to moisten making it pretty darn good for a blowjob. It won't cause even sensitive penises to burn but it does give a tingly cool and oddly warm feeling that Sigel found to be very pleasant indeed!

I followed the instructions on the bottle and rubbed a small amount of the gel on and around my clitoris. I expected it to burn or be irritating like so many other arousal gels but I was surprised when it only gave a tingly warm sensation. I was acutely aware of my clitoral area like I hadn't been for some time. I felt the area lightly come alive without the discomfort I have experienced before with other products. Solo play took on a whole new sensation but when Sigel lightly blew on the area I came unglued! The air was cool and the tingly sensation intensified. Sigel liked the flavor of the gel and I definitely noticed a difference in the sensations. I can't say the orgasm was the best I've ever had but it was pretty amazing.


Keep in mind that this product is not meant to be used as a lubricant and in large amounts could be very irritating to the lining of the vagina or anus. A small amount didn't hurt me or mess with my internal flora but I seriously warn against trying to use this as a lube. I did find that a very small amount rubbed into the anal ring can make oral in that area pretty exciting! Again, I would avoid getting this inside the anus but it is a great stimulating gel. It is great for nipples as well!


It washes away cleanly and easily with warm water and soap, the sensation will persist due to the oil base of the product but it is a light sensation not an irritating one.


All in all I would say the product lives up to the hype. It is light instead of heavy hitting and irritating. It might not work for all women but for those of us that need just a slight boost it can be pretty amazing.

This product has held up well over time. The formula hasn't gone all runny or lost it's flavor. it still produces the mild tingling sensation and provides us with something a little extra to add to oral loving.
