The Sinclair Select Gia is a multi-function, plastic g-spot vibrator. It is supposed to target the g-spot, however this will only work if you have a shallow g-spot. Other than that it also works well for clitoral stimulation and to stimulate the first couple of inches of the vagina. It is waterproof, so it can be used in the shower as well.

The Select Gia is made mostly out of plastic, but has a hard rubber or rubber coated plastic (can't tell because of how firm it is) tip that is designed to apply pressure and vibration on your g-spot. The rubber tip has a slight drag, so lube might be needed. Plastic rates as a 8 on safety according to EdenFantasys, so it a pretty safe material for everyone to use. Even though rubber (tip) does not rate as high on safety, the package says that this toy is phthalate free.

Since this is made out of plastic there is no give to the material, which can be a con with this shape because it may not fit all body types. The entire body of the toy is smooth and free of texture, so this is a plus if you enjoy smooth toys.

Straight out of the packaging there was only a slight smell (that has since pretty much disappeared), due to the rubber of the tip, but nothing unbearable.

The Select Gia is 5 inches in total length, with an insertable length of 3 inches. In regards to girth, this vibrator is only 4 inches in circumference, making manageable for beginners or those who do not enjoy girthy toys.

It has a pronounced/dramatic curve that would allow the toy to easily hit some g-spots. Due to my body shape, I found the curve to a little bit much when sliding past my pelvic bone. However, once it got a little further in it was better. Also, since the insertable length is pretty short, it may not work for all body types, especially those with deep g-spots.

The design of the Select Gia is easy to work with because with the curved part inserted, it is easy to simply press the buttons to control the patterns of the vibrations or to turn the toy off quickly.

The Select Gia takes two AAA batteries, that are inserted by opening up the top cap on the toy and placing the batteries in the removable battery compartment, and then sliding this (facing the correct direction) back into the toy.

This vibe has a separate on/off button and another button to control patterns. It does not have a speed control, so it the strength stays pretty much the same (however, some patterns seem to alter it) but it has 7 different vibration patterns.
1. steady vibration
2. fast pulses
3. faster pulses, followed by steady vibration that increases in intensity
4. slower pulses followed by very fast pulses
5. steady vibration that decreases slightly and then increases again
6. three fast pulses with a short period of steady vibration
7. multiple fast pulses followed by strong steady vibration

The controls make this toy easy to use. To turn it on or off, simply push the lower of the two buttons. To change patterns, just push the top button until you find a pattern you like. After it has cycled through all of the patterns, the toy stops, but it is not technically off, and you can push the pattern button once more to cycle through again. When the red light is on (around the buttons), you know that the toy is still on.

I find this toy to be pretty noisy when it is outside of the body, but it gets more quiet when it is completely inserted or when I am under the covers. The motor does not seem to be located in the g-spot end of the toy, so the vibrations are not that strong in this area.

I used this toy in the shower with no problems. However, it have not used it completely submerged, but the O-ring looked secure enough.

Since this toy is waterproof, it can easily be cleaned with warm water and anti-bacterial soap without causing damage to the internal parts. According to the package, this is the best way to clean it, so I have not used any toy cleaner on this one.

The Select Gia should be used with water based or silicone lubes due to the fact that oil can react with the rubber on the tip.

I simply store mine in the packaging that it came with because it is a good size and keeps the toy separate.

The Select Gia comes packaged in a card board box that flips open to contain the toy in a molded plastic insert. The outside of the box contains information about the toy and its properties as well as cleaning and care information. You can see the toy through the window on the package, so this is not discreet at all.

I use the packaging for storage, because the box is a good size and keeps the toy nicely in place.

This was my first vibe targeted for g-spot stimulation and I wasn't very impressed. I was expecting a little more power and I did not find the vibrations strong enough to get me off on their own. However, I found that because of the curve, when I vigorously rocked this toy inside of me, it kind of hit the right spots and (with much effort) I was able to orgasm. It could also be because I wasn't able to hit my g-spot head on, but my orgasms were not as intense as with other toys.

I also used it for clitoral stimulation and was pretty successful when using some of the patterns, due to the fact that they alter the speed and intensity of the vibrations a little.
