Siri, the good and the ehhh

If you're new to the vibrator game, then I would suggest that you start with something more affordable. Get to know yourself, learn what you want and don't want in a vibrator from inexpensive models before you jump head first into the pricey luxury toys. Once you know what you want, and if that's a toy with moderate power, discreetness, silicone material, rechargeable and isn't water proof, then this toy will be great for you.

Discreet, rechargeable, hands free

Use

Siri's biggest buying point is that she is virtually silent, which is something that we all wish we could say about our favorite vibrators that are buried underneath blankets and pillows at home. Lelo then sweetens this clitoral vibe by featuring 6 vibration patterns that work nicely for pin-point stimulation from the clit to the nips.

I wouldn't say the power behind these vibes are going to rock any avid vibrator user's world, but it definitely has the capability to bring any beginner to their hypothetical knees. Siri is a great toy for foreplay if you're looking for that perfect amount of stimulation just to get you going before the main course.

When it's just me, I slip her between my lips and hug her ever so lightly with my thighs and give her a little rocking motion. This leaves my hands free to tease the rest of my body that is usually neglected when I use much larger vibrators that require two hands. When with a partner, this leaves my hands free to roam more exciting places than just a power switch.

Material / Texture

The Siri is made up of a smooth silicone where it will be coming into contact with your body, and ABS plastic where the control pad and charging port are located. This is a great material combination that results in a toy that is soft to the touch but not squishy or porous which helps eliminate odors.

Cleaning the toy is made easy with such reliable materials that just need to be rinsed in warm soapy water after use to keep gunk free. I noticed that the silicone part of the Siri resists lint and other fibers that most silicone toys seem to collect like it was a hobby or something; the fact that Siri isn't a follower in this trend is much appreciated.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The highlights of the Siri are that it is ergonomic and small, it fits very nicely against the labia in such a way that there is no need to hold it in place, and hands free is always a fantastic thing. It also has a wide variety of speeds and 6 pulsations. I counted 9 speed variations, but the first 2 really don't deserve a spot on the list they are so weak. Many times I thought I turned my Siri off only to hear in the middle of the night a barely audible hum indicating that it was still on.

The last and highest speed setting is pretty awesome. This is coming from a hardcore vibrator user who mostly rocks the massager category. I hope that gives you some perspective. If I say that this thing has some 'oomph,' then it most definitely does. I think that beginners will love this vibrator. However advanced users will be disappointed. I find myself often settling for this toy when the batteries in my Acuvibe are dead.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The D-pad on this toy features an up and down arrow that controls the patterns. The cool thing about these arrows is that they allow you to go backward while selecting a variation that suits your fancy. I like that the Siri has so many patterns to choose from. That's a feature that I think beginners will enjoy. There is a minus and plus sign opposite each other that control the speed of this toy. I found that these buttons, because they are so flat, are hard to distinguish between when in use.

It was very vexing to be using this toy while trying to find my groove and accidentally clicking the pulsation button that throws everything off and having to start over. I had to constantly check my finger placement on these controls and that really ruins the experience. This toy is definitely quite. Even on its highest setting there is no need for the standard precautions of music and blanket application to muffle the sound.
    • Discreet sound
    • Rechargeable

Care and Maintenance

I store my Lelo Siri in the box that it came in, which is made from a sturdy black matte cardboard. After using this toy, I rinse it with warm water and antimicrobial soap and dry it with a paper towel. Siri is really easy to clean. The only potential problem is that because it is so small, about 3.5 in long, this means that it is easier to get water in the charging port by accident, so be careful of that.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Siri came in a premium black matte cardboard box which is great for storage or a gift box. It also came with a 1 year warranty and instruction booklet that was an easy and quick read. There was the standard black booklet that showcases other Lelo products, one charger and a silk-ish carrying pouch for the Siri.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage
    • Would make a nice gift

That's a shame that you say it's so weak. Another reviewer said the vibrations were too spread out to be effective, maybe that's why you didn't like it either?

  • Why Did The Lelo Siri Get Such Mixed Reviews?
    • Why Did The Lelo Siri Get Such Mixed Reviews? Was is based on expectations of comparing it to the other Lelo line? Other comparable products? Price point. Was there over heating/ charging issues. How does the vibration field/ strength compare to the Liv & Mona. Who (here) has tried all three?

I wish there was a better video review. The one posted is flashy, but not very informative. It would be really nice if someone would compare the difference between the three Lelo toys i have listed.

*edit- looks like the main complaints are non-waterproof & lacking Vroom for some. Does that pretty well sum it up?
    • lol I feel like you answered your own question. um, all I can say is reread the reviews. I know that what I gathered was that it heated up super quick and it was incredibly uncomfortable or down right painful for some.
    • The Siri has 31 reviews up, 20 of which give it 5 stars, 8 give it 4 stars, and only 3 go lower. That seems pretty positive to me. :) Though truly, you're not really going to get a better answer to your questions than from the reviews themselves.

  • If you had to choose one lelo product what would it be
    • So I've seen in other discussions a wide variety of choices. I want to know if you could only have one Lelo product which would it be and why. Do you already own one?

I have the Soraya and it's one of my favorites (though I do wish it were a bit stronger). I also have the Nea and my Luna beads are shipping as I type.

I have my eye on the Elise but it's not something I'd die without, you know? Lelo has some motion sense products that just launched that work like a Wii controller I think that's pretty freaking awesome but I'm waiting on some reviews to come out first. I'm also kinda like the Alia but if the motion sense reviews are good I'd pick those up before the Alia.

I will likely never buy a Siri because I need intense vibrations not lots of patterns.
    • Mona! I have Siri and Ella and they're great but I am soo exciting about buying the Mona in my next order. I've wanted that one for ages and ages :)

  • Zini Seed or Lelo Siri?
    • I've been on the market for a new, strong clitoral vibrator. I've been an avid Hitachi user for a few years, but have been slowly weaning myself off that and have been using the Lelo GiGi as my go-to clit toy.
Although I really like the GiGi as a clit toy vibe, I know it's not for that and sometimes the vibrations seem really weak to me. I've been looking at both the Seed and the Siri, but how do these two compare? Does someone have both? Which one is stronger, etc?
    • I don't have the seed but I do know that the Siri isn't super strong. And there aren't any reviews for the Seed up yet, are there?
    • There is some Seed reviews. Both vibes sound good, but I'd go with the Seed. I just ordered the Womolia which is supposed to be quite strong as well.

  • I have a discount for a LELO toy...which should I get?
    • I have a 40% off discount to Lelo's website, but I don't know what to get. I already own the Ina, the Ella, and the personal moisturizer. Of course I want EVERYTHING, but at this point I've narrowed it down to a few things. The new Mia, the Luna Beads, the candle/massage oil, or maybe the Siri. I've been buying lots of sex toys lately which is why I'm leaning towards the Luna Beads because they're cheaper and I don't own any Kegel exercisers yet. What would you do with a discount as awesome as this one?

If you haven't already used it or it hasn't expired, I'd go with the new Mia, it's supposed to be twice as strong!
Also, how'd you get such an awesome coupon?
    • I'm curious about what you ended up choosing! And yes, that coupon is awesome!

  • Waterproof?
    • Is this waterproof or splashproof?
    • Quote: Is this waterproof or splashproof?
No it's not waterproof and i baby mine to much to test but because the charger port is completly open it is likely that water would go in and then she would die, and that would be awful because the lack of water tolerance is her only fault. so i'm going to say no to splashproof as well.
    • Okay thanks! I was a bit confused about that. :)

    • Just curious about this product, please let me know your personal experiences so I can make a decision whether to buy it or not. Thanks
    • I would go check out the reviews on the Siri. It includes the reviewers personal experience with the Siri, ans you can get multiple opinions that way.

I haven't gotten a chance to do my review yet but I have to say that it's amazing, almost silent deep and rumbly very compact and conveniant to hold, i guess the real deciding factor between this and a lot of others is how deep of a vibration you like/need and how much you're willing to pay for it, i love mine and have not a regret in the world for getting it, though to be fare with coupons and points I got it a lot cheaper than i would have otherwise.
