Siri - sex toy by LELO - review by Fanny

I've been looking for a nice, aesthetically pleasing, strong clitoral vibrator for some time now, scouring reviews about things like the Bcurious and the Form 2. Nothing seemed to be the perfect clitoral vibrator for me. Some were too expensive, others had design flaws, and some were just plain ugly. When I first saw the Siri, I was sure all of my sex-toy dreams had come true! It's a small, strong, well designed hand-held clitoral vibrator made by a well known, reliable manufacturer. This little toy is a perfect, simple sex toy that does exactly what it should, and I love it!

The Siri has two main parts to it. The part that touches your body is silicone and is very soft to the touch. I noticed that it has a very subtle almost sweet smell to it (had to put it right up to my nose to smell it). The silicone part of the toy is incredibly smooth and feels wonderful on the skin. It doesn't have a lot of give, but conducts the vibrations wonderfully. It has a matte finish and the silicone part comes in 3 colors (red, purple, and pink). I got it in red and I love it! The part with the buttons on it is made out of hard plastic. It's smooth, shiny, and very attractive. Also, the seam between the silicone and the plastic doesn't have much of a gap at all.

The design and shape of this are what first caught my eye. I like it because it doesn't even really look like a sex toy! It looks like a Wii controller or something, wearing a red hat. It's adorable! If I found this at a friends house, I'm not even sure I'd be able to identify it as a sex toy. It's also a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I'd compare the size to perhaps a bar of soap or something. It fits very comfortably in my hand and the curves makes it really easy to hold onto. The shape sort of reminds me of a sexy version of a computer mouse. The rounded tip on the silicone end is great for clitoral stimulation. It's not as "pin-point" as some toys that I've used, but it's still very focused and feels fantastic!

Another thing is that this baby is rechargeable! This is my FIRST rechargeable toy and I'm SO excited! My sex toy box and night stand, up until now, has been littered with batteries. My boyfriend has referred to my room as a "battery graveyard". Not anymore!!!!
When I first got it, I immediately plugged it in. The manual says that it takes two hours to fully charge. While it's charging, the buttons light up and pulse to show that it's taking the charge. When it's done, it'll stop pulsing and the buttons will stay lit, saying "USE ME! I'm DONE!" The manual also says that you can get up to 4 hours of playtime off of one charge!

(I also thought the instructions were amusing.It says "Gently insert the DC plug into the DC socket, deep enough to feel a subtle click." Is it just me or is that extremely sexual?)

The buttons on this toy are very simple. I've taken off stars on other reviews because of awkward/fumbly controls, but these are great! There are only four buttons. Two of them control the intensity/strength of the vibrations. They're marked with a plus and minus sign. The other two change the mode/pattern of the vibrations and they're marked with an up and down arrow. The patterns are a lot of fun! From what I can tell, there are 9 levels of intensity in the vibrations. The first level is almost inaudible and extremely gentle. The 9th level is very powerful and puts off some serious vibrations! It's a little louder on the highest level, but it's still very quiet. You can sort of hear it through the covers, but definitely not from the next room.

Mode 1: Constant vibrations at whatever level you choose.
Mode 2: A simple pulse. It'll go straight from 0 to whatever level you've got it on, then back to 0. (example: If you have the intensity set to level 4, it'll go 4,0,4,0,4, etc. If you have it on a level 9, it'll go 9,0,9,0,9, etc.)
Mode 3: A faster version of the pulse.
Mode 4: This one is sort of a pulse but with a gradual incline, the peak being whatever you've got it set on. The vibrations also don't ever really completely stop with this one, unlike modes 2 and 3. (example: 1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5)
Mode 5: This mode is similar to mode 4, only it has a gradual incline and decline in the intensity. (example: 1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1,2,3,4,5, etc)
Mode 6: This mode I will call "Crazy Mode". The toy basically just goes nuts and it's almost like its singing a song. It'll jump from one intensity to the other seemingly randomly. It's fun!

The toy is also lockable! GREAT feature! I'm always nervous about my suitcases starting to vibrate while I'm traveling. (TERRORIST ALERT! Oh wait, it's just...a vibrator.)

Since this toy isn't meant for insertion, it probably won't get TOO messy. I usually just use wipes to clean my toys. This toy is NOT waterproof! If you DO want to wash it with soap and water, be careful not to let any water get into the place where you plug in the charger! The toy also came with a small pouch for storage and to keep the dust off. :)

Also, since part of this toy is made out of silicone, you cannot use it with silicone lubricants! Using a silicone lubricant will break down the silicone on the toy! If you're going to use a lube, use water based!

The packaging for Lelo toys is fantastic. There aren't any naked ladies or butts on the packaging, which I love. It comes in a sexy black box, which I'm definitely going to keep. The packaging kind of reminds me of Iphone packaging (or any apple product). Inside the box, Lelo comes in a little (hard to describe) plastic case that is very sleek. I almost didn't want to open it! Also inside the box is a manual (pretty vague), a warranty (TEN YEARS!), a little pouch, and the charge cord.

This toy is awesome. I've had quite a few "egg" type or "bullet" type clitoral vibrators, and I've been looking to step up the quality for a while. Eggs and bullets are alright, but the cord always gets in the way and they run out of batteries quickly. Also, the longevity of the toy is not usually that great. This, on the other hand, is very high quality. Of course, I've only had it for a day, but I'll let you know how it lasts in a few months. :)

The stimulation that I get from this toy is great. The vibrations are very strong, but not TOO strong. I'm not too worried about it making me numb or flying out of my hand. It's definitely my go to toy now when I'm by myself. I haven't yet used it during sex, but it seems like it's going to be very easy to use! It's small, there's no cord to get in the way, and it's easy to control! Lelo's Siri is SIRIously amazing and I'm 100% satisfied with her!
