The Slim Smooth Delight is a multi-speed, multi-function vibrator with a traditional size, but unique shape. It would be a great toy for beginners because of the mild vibrations and unique shape.

This vibrator would work well for those who prefer lighter vibrations for clitoral stimulation. The power level is medium-low, which is a great level for beginners to start out with. It can be used as a foreplay toy that won't get you too warmed up if you're the type to prefer stronger vibrations. This vibe can be used for g-spot stimulation, but it may not provide the level of stimulation some women are looking for. It can also be used for light anal play, as long as you take care not to insert it past the lower bulge on the toy. It a non-intimidating vibe that can be used during foreplay, or for solo adventures.

The toy is made of easy to clean, hard plastic which has a material safety rating of 8. It is incredibly smooth, without any added texture. This is a great fit for those who like a lot of glide to their toys and are turned off by the tackiness of some other materials. For a beginner vibe, the smooth finish it great for exploring what kind of stimulation you like, and if you like smooth materials, or those with a little more grab to them. The smooth finish also makes insertion a breeze. As with most plastic, this toy has no smell or taste.

This vibrator has a very interesting shape. It looks like it has a little head, neck, and bust. The entire vibe is 6 1/2" long with an insertable length of 5 1/2". Overall, the size seems perfect for a beginner.

While this toy is great for clitoral stimulation, it may not be the most effective toy for g-spot stimulation due to the quite smaller head on it. For clitoral stimulation, it does have and advantage over bullets in that it has a longer handle which gives the toy a longer reach. I wouldn't thrust like crazy with this one, though, because of the risk of bruising the cervix due to the smaller head shape.

The product page does say that it glows in the dark. The only part of it that does glow is the tiny button on the bottom.

The Slim Smooth Delight takes two AAA batteries. There is no O-ring in the battery compartment, so it is not waterproof. The functions are controlled by a single button located on the bottom of the base. Pressing this button will turn it on, and cycle you through the functions. You get low, medium, high, a wave-like surging, pulsations, varied pulsations, and the last function seems to take you to high. At first, I was expecting this to be one of the graduated intensity functions, but it wasn't. It's just your plain old regular high setting.

Overall, the noise level is fairly low. This one is a bit softer and higher pitched than any of the vibrators I've owned. This sound may be easier to hide under covers. When it comes to the vibrations, they are very mild. It seems like it's vibrating, but when I put my hand around it, it doesn't seem like the vibrations transfer from the toy very much. I'm someone who likes a ton of power, so this was a disappointment to me. If you like lighter vibrations, this may be best for you.

Plastic is super easy to take care of. This toy isn't waterproof, but it can be wiped down with a cloth and some soapy water, toy wipes or spray, or any other way it won't get submerged. When cleaning, be extra careful not to get water into the battery compartment or around the button. To store, put it in a safe place. It doesn't require special storage. Plastic will also not pick up any lint or dust that's floating around.

Plastic is also compatible with all types of lube, so no worries there. Just try not to get any in the battery compartment and you should be fine.
