Hedonist - traditional vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Perish

I got this as a half price item when I went to a shop over here, so this is a kind of a late review for the Hedonist vibrator. I'm a guy, so I can't really give an all around perspective review on it. So I guess I'm going to have to give a one sided male perspective on it.

Well to start off, I got the teal colored one and I think that teal looks the best on it; out off all the colors EF offers it in. When I brought it home and was about to try it as a "solo aid", I had put fresh E-lithium rechargeable batteries in it and had noticed that it didn't want to turn on. I tried everything from putting different types of batteries in it to messing with the copper transistor that's inside of it. Well to my dismay, nothing had really worked until I decided to smack it... after that it turned on and I was surprised at how strong the vibrations were. I've only used it about 3 times and from those 3 times of usage I have had to smack it hard every time to get it to work. If I had known about EF when I bought it, I wouldn't have gotten it all. The reason why I say that is because EF always carries toys in their utmost quality, and I don't think I would have had any issues with it. I really think it was the toy that was messed up and not the people who make it (California Exotic). So yea that is the only issue and complaint I have/had with it.

The battery life is actually quite good for being that the toy itself is quite powerful. Hmm well, I am using the lithium batteries with it so that might be the reason why the battery life is so good. The toy would be pretty good for anal play since it isn't too wide and it is coated with a thin soft rubber coating. It's almost velvety really. The inside is hard plastic so it is not flexible at all. Another thing to add about it would be that the speed dial is kind of hard to twist. Since it is water-proof, the washers and other parts are a little bit thicker and I think that has a lot to do with it.

It is ribbed, so I think it would also be delightful for vaginal play. The ridges make it easy to clean since they are not too wide or too tiny that dust or any other thing gets stuck in between them plus I think that would spice things up when a women would want to thrust it in and out of her pussy. Also to add, when I opened this toy for the first time, I couldn't smell that fresh factory scent that you get with most toys, even though the material that it is made out of is sort of known for it.

Like I said before it is water proof, so it would be great to use in showers, hot-tubs, pools etc. Before I retired this toy, I used it in the shower and it definitely holds up to the spec of it being waterproof. I use water based lubes with all my toys because it is the easiest to clean in my opinion, so this toy was pretty easy to rinse off with some cold water and store it. If you're sharing this toy with someone then I would suggest you use a condom with it or wash it with soap and water before and after each use.

So yea, in the end this toy has been great and it has been pretty fun to use as extra stimulation while masturbating while using other toys. The only reason why I have put it away for good is because of me having to slap it too life every time I want to get my vibro on. If you're a guy and using it, it is great to use on your balls, cock and on your thighs while you’re masturbating or while being with a partner.
