Small but effective

All being said, I think the little chroma is a great addition to any collection; even though it is a single speed, it can be quite a bit of fun. It's great for anywhere, the bath or shower, the bedroom, or where ever your heart desires. If you can afford this luxury toy, get it. You won't be disappointed.

Use

The little chroma has quickly become my favorite in the arsenal of sex toys my girlfriend and I own. Its small size and quiet but powerful motor make it perfect for play, even with a home full of guests. I use it to vibrate my girlfriend's clit while we have sex. We even have gotten more adventurous and inserted it into her anus during intercourse; its slim size made it an easy fit, and it felt great for the both of us. Material / Texture

The little chroma is an all metal vibrator. It has a nice smooth surface and lubes up well. A benefit of it being metal is that you can warm it up or cool it down just running it under water for a bit. The surface is super easy to clean; just be sure to screw the cap all the way down if you are cleaning it in the sink. I noticed others asking if the toy contained nickel; upon receiving the toy, I read the instructions thoroughly and found that it does, in fact, contain small amounts, just to inform people who might have allergies.

The design of the little chroma is simple; no flashy curves or little things coming out of the sides here, which makes this toy discreet and easy to hide, in a way. If put in a drawer or purse, it wouldn't stick out easily, though with its small size it would be extremely easy to hide, if need be.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There is one speed and one setting on this vibrator, and though it doesn't sound like much for the price, the toy performs well. It is not overly powerful, or underpowered, even; it's a very good speed, and though it is constant, it isn't annoying at all. The controls to turn it on are simple; just screw the end cap in, and remember to screw it in all the way. I recently spoke with some people who said the little chroma was noisy. Well, it might be when the cap isn't all the way in, but when properly turned on, the unit is near silent. The chroma is completely waterproof and can be a lot of fun in the tub or shower, again, as long as the cap is screwed all the way in.

Care and Maintenance

Cleanup and maintenance of the little chroma is easy. I remove the battery, screw the cap all the way in, and use a mild dish soap in the sink to clean it, and then use a soft towel to dry it off. One of the most unique features of this toy is that the motor is replaceable. If it ever dies, buy a new one; they are a fraction of the cost of a new toy, which is always a good thing when buying high quality sex toys. I wouldn't recommend throwing the chroma in a bag with other metal objects or anything that might scratch the surface. Find a small pouch or cloth to wrap it in for storage.

Packaging

The packaging is simple. It's a small, slide out box with a cut out for the toy inside, and the instructions lay on top of the toy. I wouldn't use the box for storage; its slightly annoying to take the toy out of, and there's next to no protection if something were to fall on top of it. The outside of the box, however, does look nice with a picture of the toy and a few descriptions of it.

      I have bought 2. The first chipped on concrete while transporting it to my boyfriends house. I think it had repeated shocks to the motor because I was dropping it while I was getting out of the bath. Then the motor became noisy and not so effective. I moved on to my eroscillator for a while, but eventually I bought another little choma because I missed it so much. So yes, I think it is worth it. And if you look after it it will look after you. Tie a strap around the end of the little chroma if you're going to use it in the shower so then you won't drop it. This is easily done, there are holes for such a strap. If transporting it elsewhere keep it in a nice safe pouch. Don't grab it on the way out of the house without putting it away in your bag anyhow. You may regret it later.

      As far as vibrators go, my clitoris is an extremely fussy girl. I can get off with the eroscillator or the little chroma, but anything else has honestly been rather a difficult endeavour. I've tried decent bullets and pocket rockets and traditional vibrators but none has come close. I've tried a vibrator with weird patterns. Honestly, all you need is this one speed. It varies in intensity across the shaft. The little chroma has a decent power at a discreet noise level. It also has a beautiful hard smoothness and doesn't cause irritation. As goldilocks would say 'It's just right'. Just make sure your batteries are charged (the only ones that fit are eneloop), or get some fresh non-rechargable ones before you judge its power.

      Plus they are pretty!

    • So I've been looking into Jimmyjane more and more the past few months after all the hype finally got to me. The toy that seems to tickle my fancy the most would be the little chroma. The whole high quality, small, sleek, simple, quiet, waterproof, metal thing really gets me going. However, the sexiest version of the toy for me is the steel version *pictures it sitting innocently next to my mac, complemented by the brushed steel lamp on the bedside table*, which costs a whopping $195. Now, I'm okay with spending the money on a single toy, as long as it's the right toy. Trouble is, I've been to maybe 12 adult toy stores in three different cities around my state, NC, and not only did the majority of them not carry Jimmyjane toys, the only ones that did were adam and eve and although the chain carries a few of the toys, the specific stores did not. What's worse, some of the other stores had never even heard of Jimmyjane. And yeah, it took some effort to not exclaim "and you do this for a living?!?!" Anyways...

      Not being able to see, touch, test/witness the vibration of the toys before hand is a big problem to me, especially when dealing with such expensive toys.

      Does anyone have any idea where I can get my hands on any of their friggin products? I mean sheesh, I'd be willing to make a minitrip to a surrounding state for funzies at this point. SEX TOY ROADTRIP! I just have to lay my eyes on em, ya know? Sneaky little things... Has anyone else had the same experience with not being able to find them?

      Or can anyone who owns a little chroma/little something offer a more specific comparison of power to some other more available and comparable toy? I've read all the reviews on this site as well as others. I just want something more like, "at the strongest point it feels similar in intensity to the (#) setting of (manufacturer)'s (toy name)." If that's at all possible...
