Small, Hard, Shiny: Woman's New Best Friend

The Little Chroma is somewhat expensive, but is quite durable and fun to use. Simple shape and controls make it versatile and the replaceable motor means you can use it forever. It is discreet and elegant in design, unlike many oddly shaped vibrators. It's fun for solo or couples play and fantastic on g-spot. If I could have only one vibrator, it would probably be this one.
Published:

Use

The Little Chroma is great for stimulating both the vagina and clit, though it's not ideal for stimulating both at the same time. Unlike some other vibrators and most dildos, Little Chroma is small enough not to be intimidating, which makes it a decent choice for a first vibrator. Not to imply that it's only good for beginners. Oh, no. The chrome exterior is deliciously cold at first, and since there are no buttons to deal with, there is no "wrong" end to use. You will want to make sure to wash out the little hole through the motor end, though.
Its straight shape makes stimulating both the clit and vagina slightly tricky, but you (or your partner) can manage it by holding the Little Chroma at a slight upward angle while inside the vagina and using a finger to make the clit contact the vibrator. the Little Chroma can also be used to quite good effect on your nipples or other sensitive areas. It works very well for extra clitoral or nipple stimulation during sex.
Little Chroma's small size makes it great for travel, and since it is battery-operated rather than rechargeable, you don't have to deal with bulky chargers or electrical outlets. Oh, I almost forgot. Little Chroma is completely waterproof, so it's perfect for naughty shower action (the running water helps to mask your noises) or getting adventurous in the pool.

Material / Texture

The Little Chroma's metal exterior makes it initially cool by default, but it can be warmed or chilled using hot or cold water. I haven't tried putting it in the freezer, so I don't know if that has any adverse effects on the batteries or motor.

Little Chroma doesn't have much in the way of a taste or smell, except a slight metallic tang. The motor is very quiet, but powerful enough to stimulate a lovely orgasm. Since it's metallic, you can use pretty much any lube with the Little Chroma. I was nervous at first because the toy is very hard, but it's also small and smooth, so there's little to no danger of hurting yourself.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Rigid

Design / Shape / Size

The Little Chroma is definitely one of the more attractive vibrators I've seen, and the shape is pretty discreet. This is my favorite vibrator for travel, since it can easily fit in most purses and doesn't require a charger. If you're used to larger vibrators, you might think the Little Chroma seems too slender, but its size allows easy g-spot stimulation without pain or tightness. The only time Little Chroma doesn't seem quite sufficient to induce a vaginal orgasm is right after sex, when something larger might be in order. Both beginning and advanced toy users will find the Little Chroma fun and easy to use.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Little Chroma is controlled by screwing the cap on or off. This simple on/off scheme might seem simplistic, but I rarely miss the lack of variety in vibration speed or pattern. The cap can be hard to twist when the vibrator (or your hands) are slippery, but other than that, I've never had any trouble using it. Try not to bounce it off a hard tile floor, as this may result in needing to replace the motor. Thankfully, the motor is replaceable. I haven't tried the Little Chroma when full immersed (say, in a tub or pool), but it works really well in the shower. The vibrations are effective but quiet, so they shouldn't disturb your neighbors or distract you from your play. I can't promise the same for any noises you might make, though.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Long lasting power

Care and Maintenance

the Little Chroma is easy to clean; I just use soap and water. I find the shower is the easier place to clean it, so you can direct water into the little hole in the end cap. After washing the toy and drying it off on a towel, I just store it in its original box. It doesn't require special storage, or specific lubes, since it's metallic and not silicone. The Little Chroma can be used in conjunction with other vibrators and toys, no problem.

Packaging

The Little Chroma comes nestled in a foam cutout inside of an attractive little cardboard box. I'm not sure about the foam, but the box is recyclable. Since the box bears a picture of the toy, I wouldn't use it as a gift box unless it was a gag gift. There are no naked or nearly naked women on the package, just a picture of Little Chroma. The box is perfect for storing the toy. The instruction manual is clear and easy to read, but the Little Chroma is so easy to use that you'll hardly need any instructions beyond figuring out which way the batteries go. You'll need two AA batteries, which are not (I think) included in the initial purchase price. Little Chroma doesn't go through batteries all that quickly. In the eight months I've used it, I think I've replaced the batteries two to four times.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage
    • Minimal
