When I saw the Velvet Touch Vibrator for the first time, I noticed its smooth surface at once. Even though it is made of plastic, it features a smooth, velvety covering that doesn't feel like plastic - the same as other higher-priced vibrators in the market. It is also because of that plastic that it is quite stiff that sometimes it's hard for insertion especially if you aren't lubed enough. But since it doesn't feel plastic-y at all, it doesn't hurt that much with friction when you move it inside as compared to other plastic vibrators - it just goes in smoothly. A nice lubricant would go perfect with this vibrator. The color is also quite sexy; I got the lavender one. Most toys nowadays are pink or lavender and it gives a nice feminine look to this shaft.

It has a dial-turn base that regulates the vibrations, but sometimes it's hard to turn especially when it's slippery. At the strongest vibration setting, it is noisy that you have to play your music louder so that the person in the room next to you won't hear what's going on inside your room. Definitely a not-so-silent vibrator. Although it isn't very loud, it isn't silent either.

However, it gives good vibrations that's good for clitoral stimulation and for penetration, as well. The semi-pointed tip is good for rubbing on places where you want to use it, which can be your whole body or your whole partner's body. Although prolonged use may leave your hands numb and your batteries dead. A rechargeable battery would go well with this vibe.

Since the Velvet Touch Vibrator is waterproof, cleaning isn't a problem. Just a bit of antibacterial soap and some suds, and you're done. Of course, you might consider putting on a condom if you intend to share it with someone.

This vibe is definitely good for starters, and would be a great first sex toy for somebody. And given its very reasonable price, it's another must-have in your sex toy bureau that's sure to give you nice pleasures both when you're alone or when you are with your partner.

The turn dial is broken! Don't ask me how - I don't even use it that often. But it somehow managed itself to get broken. Before it broke, I could only turn it on and off by loosening and tightening the battery cap. But now, it turns a bit sensitive, and would turn on somewhere in between the turn dial, but you cannot adjust its speed anymore. Nice vibe, ALTHOUGH the dial is NOT RELIABLE.
