Traditional vibrator discontinued

So Much Potential!

Satin would be a perfect vibe if only the case was on tight. The head feels fantastic and rubs against all the right spots---especially with its fantastic rotations. The vibrations are nice and smooth, but these features would be accentuated if only the cap stayed on right.

*Use*

Satin is a nicely sized vibrator intended for vaginal use. It can be used anally or shared but condoms are recommended due to its porous material. The strong vibrations are great for teasing or clitoral use, and the large head and rotation work great internally to stimulate the g spot.

*Material and Care*

Satin is made of a thick, plushy Elastomer that feels great! It feels better than TPR and is soft and pliable like a soft version of VixSkin.

Elastomer is a form of TPR but it is much more realistic feeling. It almost reminds me of a stress ball, only in vibrator form.

It can be disinfected by boiling water. For this I would recommended dipping the top half in the water, but take care when doing this because Satin is not waterproof or splash-proof.

It can also be cleaned by soap and warm water, toy wipes, or toy cleaner. Store this in a nice dry place on its own; Elastomer is still porous and can pick up bacteria and debris from other things. Keep it in a dark place if you can to prevent it from melting or getting destroyed.

*Size and Functions*

Satin is a nice hefty vibe with a total length of 9". 6 1/2" are insertable and the diameter is 1 5/8". It feels bigger to me, however I don't have a tape measure on me at the moment to double check this. If I had to guess I would say the diameter is closer to 1 1/2" but I am not good about guessing diameters.

The battery case is yet another 80's style cases that feels heavy and clunky. There are two different sliders; one controls vibration and the other controls rotation. Simply slide them up or down to get the speed and strength you desire.

*Performance/Design*

Satin has a lot of potential to be an awesome vibrator but there are some major aesthetic flaws that just make it hard to like this toy. I love the size, the feel, the texture, the rotating and vibration; but this is just so loud and the battery case will not stay on at all. It slides off during thrusting and doesn't even shut all the way. Now this could be a particular flaw that mine has, but it is a major flaw to me.

The rotation this toy has is awesome! I have never had a toy rotate this strong and crazy. It spins around quite well and it is mostly the bulged head and a small portion of the shaft that rotates. This makes the toy SO loud though. I compare it to that of The Tongue in that it sounds like a miniature weed whacker.

I love my Vibratex Silky (a nonvibrating dildo that is so wonderfully plush and bends to hold any angle you desire), so it's a shame Vibratex won't utilize a lot more quality control in making a vibrating version of my Silky! I keep wanting one of their plush vibrators, but there are lots of complaints about these falling apart (the sleeve of the shaft coming off, the battery casing coming off, etc.). This makes me sad.

Great job on the review! I suppose there is really no way to just glue this together because then you couldn't get the batteries out ... Sigh. I can still indulge in wishful thinking ...
