This rabbit vibrator is meant for dual stimulation of the G-spot and clitoris. The rabbit-style clitoral arm vibrates with different options of strength and patterns. The upper portion of the shaft and rows of stimulating pearls rotate for an additional layer of excitement and pleasure.

The Xvibe has a waterproof seal around the battery compartment, though for extra precaution be wary of submerging. The battery cap does seal tightly, and the vibrator is suitable for use in the shower or to be cleaned under running water.

The toy is loud enough to be heard in use from inside the same room, but not audible from another room with the door closed. For additional privacy, a little background noise would drown out the sound.

The shaft and clitoral attachment are made of silicone, and the battery compartment and control panel are made from ABS plastic.

The silicone varies in thickness depending on the area of the vibrator. At the uppermost tip it is thicker and more solid. The layer of silicone around the section of rotating pearls is very thin. During use, this allows the sensation of the rotation to be easily felt.

The realistic rabbit shaped clitoral arm is securely attached to the shaft of the toy, yet flexible enough that it may be moved in any direction.

Silicone is hypoallergenic and non-porous. There is no odor or taste to the toy.

The lightly curved shaft and upturned tip find the G-spot with ease. The majority of the shaft is smooth. The uppermost tip has a few wave-like bulges. On either side of the vibrator, there are a few lightly raised decorative swirls. These can not be felt during use.

The clitoral attachment is rabbit shaped and measures at 2 1/2 inches in length.

The curved base of the toy makes it ergonomic and the buttons are easily pressed for smooth operation.

The overall length of the Xvibe is 10 1/2 inches, with the insertable portion being around 7 inches. The circumference near the center of the shaft is approximately 4 1/2 inches around, making the diameter slightly below 1 1/2 inches.

The Xvibe is not discreet. It is easily recognizable as a sex toy. Take caution during storage or travel to avoid prying eyes. While there is no lock feature on this vibrator, accidental turn-ons during travel can easily be avoided by removing the batteries prior to leaving.

The Xvibe operates with four AAA batteries, which get inserted through the hard plastic portion of the vibrator where the control buttons are located at the base. This portion simply twists counterclockwise to remove and clockwise to tighten back on.

The total operating time of the toy will depend on the type of batteries used. Using generic batteries, the toy operated for approximately two hours without a drop in power.

There are 5 buttons that operate the Xvibe. The power button is located in the center and turns the toy off and on. The vibrator can be turned off immediately during use in any function by pressing the power button.

Above and below the power button are a (+) and (-) button. These buttons increase and decrease the intensity of the vibrations in the clitoral attachment.

The button on the right hand side looks like a circle with arrows. This button changes the rotation between clockwise and counterclockwise. There are also a few additional patterns of rotation. The rotation, which the user manual refers to as the "squirmy" function, can mainly be felt about an inch 1/2 above the clitoral attachment on the shaft. Located there are the rows of pearls inside of the thin layer of silicone. The upper portion of the shaft, lightly rotates and squirms as well. The base of the toy does is stationary and does not move. The features of the rotation are as follows:

1. Steady clockwise
2. Steady counterclockwise
3. Short bursts of rotation alternating direction
4. Quicker bursts of alternating rotation
5. Intermittent bursts of rotation clockwise (making a partial rotation each time)

The button to the left looks like a squiggly line. This button controls the different patterns of vibration throughout the rabbit attachment. The vibration patterns are as follows:

1. Steady vibration
2. Short bursts of vibration
3. Bursts of vibration at a quicker pace
4. Quick bursts of vibration followed by a longer steady vibration
5. Escalating vibration

In a circle around the power button is a LED light. The light glows white, according to the function it is operating on. If the toy is on a steady vibration pattern, the light glows steadily. If the toy is on a pulsating pattern, the light flashes synchronized to the vibrations.

The vibration and rotating features can not be powered on and off separately. When the toy is on, it is always with vibration and rotation.

This vibrator, with the majority of the external surface being made of silicone, is easy to care for and maintain.

The surface of the vibrator can be washed with soap and water after use, or cleaned with wipes or spray designed for adult toys. Since there are mechanical components, it is not dishwasher friendly, nor can it be boiled to sanitize.

To avoid any potential damage, use the Xvibe with water-based lubricant only, and store the vibrator away from any other silicone toys.

To extend battery life to the maximum potential, remove the batteries after each use. If you plan on storing the vibrator for an extended amount of time, make sure the batteries are removed prior to storage.

The vibrator was packaged in a clear plastic clamshell. While not discreet, the package gives information about the features and allows you to view the product from all angles.

While I've tried a vibrator with rotating pearls/beads on the shaft before, the Xvibe was the first toy that I've tried with rotation of the shaft. Although the motion is gentle and not extremely noticeable, I was overall very pleased with the stimulation it provided.
