Use

Key Stella II by Jopen are kegel balls that are designed to be inserted into the vagina to help strengthen pelvic floor muscles that have become weak due to pregnancy/childbirth, aging, surgery, etc. All muscles need to be exercised in order to remain strong, vaginal muscles included. Using an exerciser like this can help with urinary incontinence and can actually help produce stronger orgasms.

These balls can be used throughout your day, giving you a subconscious reminder to flex those muscles. Once they've been inserted, you can run errands; clean your house, etc. while strengthening these important muscles. If that doesn't appeal to you, you can wear these for a period of your day that you set aside specifically for these exercises.

While some vaginal balls can be used during intercourse, these would not be the best choice for that. Additionally, these are not intended to be inserted anally since the balls could become lost. This is intended to be used as a solo tool that often can feel pleasurable to the user, nothing more.

Material / Texture

The Kegels balls are made of ABS plastic and are covered with a buttery smooth silicone. Both materials are totally body-safe and non-porous. The surface of the balls is very smooth, but they each have a small plastic area on them that shows the logo and weight. Because the balls are only coated in silicone and have a plastic core, they are very firm and have no give to them.

The holder for the balls is only made from silicone, but also has the same silky smooth feel. The biggest difference is how stretchy and pliable the holder is. It easily stretches to fit the balls inside, while remaining restrictive enough to hold the balls in place. The cord itself has a good amount of stretch to it as well, but helps remove the balls with ease.

There's no obvious texture to the balls or holder, but if you're very texture sensitive, you might notice the areas where the holder and balls connect. They did a great job of trying to make sure the holder is flush with the balls, but sometimes it's a challenge to get them in perfectly, thus making the 'seam' a little more obvious.

There was only a light 'new' scent when the product arrived, but after washing them thoroughly, it was completely gone.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of these kegel exercisers is far from unique, but is probably one of the best systems out there. The holder has two spaces that will each hold one weighted ball. Included are three balls, giving you a little bit of an option as far as weight goes.

The spaces are stacked one on top of the other and at the base is a retrieval cord. The plain end (not the corded side) should be inserted first so that you can easily remove it when it's time. The size of the balls is reasonable, and shouldn't be too large for most users. If you're not used to penetration of any kind, you might find them to be a little uncomfortable, but they should work well for the average user.

The three balls have hollow insides and a smaller ball that rolls around inside of them when you move. It can be heard when you're shaking them outside of your body, but can't be heard while you're wearing them. These inner balls are in place to stimulate and help remind you to work your muscles.

Two of the balls are 40 grams each, and one is 30 grams; making the weight either 70 grams or 80 grams when placed inside the holder. Having the option of using a lighter ball makes it great for someone just beginning, while using the heavier balls are better for someone who needs more of a challenge.

The balls are compact and travel friendly and while it would be difficult to pass them off as anything other than a kegel exerciser, you could easily say you use them for medical reasons. No reason for embarrassment!

Performance

Key Stella II works just like any other kegel exerciser and results will vary based on how often you're using them and how weak the muscles were to begin with. Using them daily will provide you with the best results. If you're not noticing a change immediately, don't lose hope. Most people start noticing an obvious change in one to three months, so just keep working on it and you're bound to see results!

Care and Maintenance

Before and after each use, it's wise to remove the balls and clean both balls and holder with antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite sex toy cleaner. When you're looking to give them a deeper clean (maybe once a week or so), you can wipe all pieces down with a 10% bleach solution, or put them on the top rack of your dishwasher. The holder can be boiled, but because the balls have plastic inside of them, I would avoid boiling the balls themselves.

Being made from silicone, you can only use a water-based lubricant if you need one when it comes to inserting them. A little will go a long way.

Storing is also very easy since Jopen has provided a storage pouch to help protect your exercisers.
