Stormy's lighted gem sex toy review
Stormy’s Lighted Gem proves that good things do come in small packages. It is a powerful, slender, quiet vibrator that is easy to use and doesn’t require 20 batteries to operate. It offers two options for the head (though I’m partial to the jelly sleeve), and is very reasonably priced for a vibe with this much power.Published: April 9, 2008
Pros:
Silent, high-powered, removeable sleeve, slender, pretty, easy to use
Cons:
None, really
Stormy’s Lighted Gem is an incredibly pretty little vibe, with a slim, contoured shape, pink glittered casing, and blue light at the tip. The light, of course, is pretty useless in terms of function (unless you have trouble finding things in the dark), but it definitely adds a pretty little touch to the vibe. It is also a slender little vibrator that packs quite a punch for something its size.
This vibrator offers the user some versatility. The tip can be used bare, which is a smooth, rounded hard plastic. It also, however, comes with a ribbed jelly cover which provides very pleasant internal and thrusting sensations. The vibe is very slender, and narrows even further down in the middle of the shaft, providing an excellent shape for thrusting motions.
Stormy’s Lighted Gem runs on 2 AA batteries. The motor, which is located in the tip of the vibe, is actually quite powerful and was a nice surprise. Given the considerable power of the motor, the toy is actually remarkably quiet and can be used discreetly. The Gem is also waterproof, which is always a nice touch.
The toy is controlled by a simple dial control at the base, and does not offer any pulsation or escalation functions. However, in my experience, the little motor was powerful enough to keep me from really caring, since I enjoyed just turning it full throttle and thrusting away. The slender size makes it ideal for vigorous thrusting motions, either by yourself or with a partner.

Follow-up commentary

Well, my light finally died, but the vibe, I am happy to report, is still working beautifully. This is an excellent beginner's vibe, slender, non-threatening, and very effective, but still packs enough punch and has those delicious ribs to satisfy the more experienced user.

Jelly?
-
I have gathered from all the reviews that I have read that Jelly ones just dont seem to go over that well. What are your opinions on this matter?
-
I don't like Jelly very much as it's just not a very safe material. That said, I do have one jelly toy that I love.

Do a forum search for jelly and you'll find many threads that already address this. Several have been posted in the past few days.

Thank you for viewing Stormy's lighted gem – vibrator review page!

You said the cons were "none, really", however you only gave it 4 stars. Can you explain why it did not receive a full 5 stars?
Other than the jelly component, there's really nothing "wrong" with this toy to list as a con. However, it just didn't totally send me to the moon, so I used a subjective rating and gave it 4 stars.
nice review
TY!
