Strangest thing ever...
I couldn't get these to stay on my fingers. Not really that effective if they won't stay on. Will give them to hubby to try for the follow up review.Published: December 18, 2011
Pros:
interesting texture
Cons:
won't stay on my fingers
I just got these for review. I thought they would be interesting to try. They do, in fact, have interesting textures on the little sleeves. The downside is that they won't stay on my fingers.
These sleeves are designed to slip onto the tips of the fingers and provide a change in texture during masturbation/foreplay. They can be used by yourself or with a partner, wherever a texture change is desired.
The silicone has a decent grip to it, and with lube, there's minimal drag against the skin. DO NOT USE SILICONE LUBE. Silicone lube breaks down silicone toys.
I wasn't crazy about the sleeves though. Mainly because they wouldn't stay on my fingers. I'm going to give them to my hubby to try, and see if they'll stay on his fingers for the follow up review. My initial impression, though, is that they don't work for "average" fingers. They fit my thumbs, but not my index fingers. Hubby's hands are a little larger, so we'll see.
As far as cleaning is concerned, the sleeves are made of silicone. You can use hot, soapy water, toy cleaner, boiling water, dishwasher, whatever. Anything goes in cleaning non-motorized silicone toys.
There is no taste, there is no scent.
Being that they're silent, you can use them anywhere. They're also waterproof. Ha! So you really, really can use them anywhere. They'll even get through TSA without setting off a bomb threat.
Another idea that just popped into my mind for uses: put them over a vibrator to change the texture. Just be careful when mixing materials, some materials react with each other and stick together. Especially jelly paired with silicone. But a hard plastic vibrator (think the lifesaver vibe) should be just fine using this as a sleeve over the vibe.
Honestly, I probably wouldn't buy these on my own.

Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
Ok, maybe we're just weird, but we couldn't get these things to work for us. They slipped off my hands, and they dug into hubby's fingers. I give up...Maybe the cat can do something with them!

Thanks for your review
So they are too big for your fingers. I'll be interested to hear how they work on your boyfriend's hands. Thanks for the review.
