Mckenzie's sweet dreams - traditional vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by ❦Angel Of Music❦

Doc Johnson's Mckenzie's Sweet Dream is my second vibrator. It's a pretty pink color (which I love because it makes me feel more girly). It is also relatively discreet because I left it on and walked right outside of my room and could not hear anything, which is nice when it comes to vibrators. Makenzie's Sweet Dream has deep twisted ridges that can be felt upon insertion. This classic vibrator can also be used for clitoral, vaginal, and nipple stimulation.

Mckenzie's Sweet Dream can be used with or without a partner (PLEASE if you intend on sharing this product, use a condom as the jelly is a very porous material and is impossible to sterilize). This Sweet Dream can be used during foreplay and also during sex. Using it to stimulate your clit during sex is amazing!

When I first opened up Makenzie's Sweet Dreams, I was almost knocked over by the strong plastic smell. I tried washing the toy and it helped a little, but the smell is still very strong even after a few uses and washes. This vibrator is made from jelly which is a porous material and is impossible to sterilize. It also releases phthalates during breakdown. A condom is highly recommended for use of this sweet dream. The twisted ridges add stimulation when inserted. I would recommend this toy for beginners to advanced users. The toy might be a little big for beginners, but I certainly enjoyed the vibrations.

In my opinion, I like the design. The twisted ridges remind me of one of my favorite condoms, Twisted Pleasure by Trojan. This is one of the reasons I was almost instantly drawn to this vibrator. Mckenzie's Sweet Dreams is 8" long with 6" being insertable. This sweet dream is also 1 3/4" in diameter. I am probably what most would call a beginner when is comes to toys, so this toy was a little large for me and was a bit uncomfortable. Since most of the vibrations can be felt in the tip, I was pleased that I can still use this toy for clitoral stimulation. I believe this toy can be used by beginners, but just take it slow. This toy is hidden in a plastic bag in my underwear drawer. So in my opinion, it is easy to hide and is suitable for travel.

I was quite pleased with the vibrations in this toy. Internally, the vibrations kind of suck, but the vibrations on the clit are amazing to me. The most vibrations can be felt on the tip of Mckenzie's Sweet Dreams, which make it easy to use for clitoral and nipple stimulation. I enjoy switching the speeds when I use this toy. The controls are similar to an I-pod, so it is very easy to switch from low to high with just a small movement of your finger. There is a very noticeable difference between the high and low setting. Of course the low easily felt, but just slightly. The high setting is definitely what I wold consider high, but may not be not earth-shattering for more experienced users.

When it comes to noise, I was thoroughly surprised that this toy is not very noisy. When I first turned it on, I was scared because it sounded loud, but I put it on my bed, walked out of my room, and shut the door. I could not hear anything. I have heard horror stories about loud vibrators, so I was happy when I discovered the discreetness of the vibrations while still quite powerful for my taste.

I was nervous to try this toy in the shower, but for the sake of the review, I did so. I was thoroughly surprised when Mckenzie's Sweet Dreams did not short out when in water. It was actually very nice with the water acting sort of like a lubricant. I have never used a vibrator in the shower and I think I will probably do so more often. I even submerged it to see if it could be used during a bath. It still works like a charm, but just make sure the battery cap is screwed on tight as water might leak into the battery cavity.

This toy is made of jelly which is porous and impossible to sterilize. I would suggest cleaning with warm water and toy cleaner. Do not try to clean with boiling water or in the dishwasher. This toy releases phthalates during breakdown, so again a condom is highly suggested for use and especially for partner play, since jelly is impossible to sterilize. Since, from experience, this toy does collect dust, fibers and such, I would recommend storing this Sweet Dream in a plastic bag in a cool dark place. Water or silicone based lubricants work best with this toy.

Mckenzie's Sweet Dreams came in a pink and see through box with Mckenzie posing on the front in skimpy clothing right next to the vibrator on full display. The box was very simple to open and I had no problem getting the vibrator out of the box. No instructions were included with this toy, but I think mine may have been a fluke because I wouldn't understand why it wouldn't come with instructions. This vibrator is basic so it wasn't hard to figure out, but for the sake of not messing things up, instructions would have been nice. "Water proof" is also right on the front so there is no question about being able to use the Sweet Dreams in the shower or bath.

There is a little paragraph on the back on the box explaining about Club Jenna products including the Sweet Dreams line. I like how it is stated that this line was made by women, for women.

I, overall, am very pleased with this product. I will be sad when I have to dispose of it because of the jelly break down. I thoroughly enjoy this toy for clitoral stimulation. Starting it off slow and cutting it up to high at the right moment it the best way to finish. Using it for insertion hurts for me. I don't know if it's the jelly or it's just too big for me right now, but it hurt.

My boo loves it when I use this during sex. It makes the experience at least 50% better. I actually orgasm before he does now, and he loves to know I am getting as much pleasure as he is. He was kind of timid when I first suggested it, but he is in love with the idea now because it turns him on when he sees me so turned on.
