The Waterwhirl by Cal Exotic Novelties is a waterproof massager. Ergonomically curved to fit a woman's hand, it's perfect for using in and out of the water. This would be perfect for anyone looking for a water toy that isn't a vibe or for a couple looking to increase pleasure in the shower. Its size is perfect for use during solo play but also great for couple sessions as it's easy to use and handle.

This toy is made of plastic which is a non-porous and phthalate-free material with a firm, smooth texture. There are two grooves on each side where the battery cover is which is supposed to help with removal of the cover, but it doesn't make it any easier. The seam is also slightly raised, but I couldn't feel it and experienced no discomfort from it at all. The push button is rubber coated making it the only feature on the toy that isn't plastic.

The design of this massager is perfect for a woman's hand. Whether you're highly experienced with these types of massagers or just starting out, this toy is perfect for you. Not too big and not too small, which makes it sit comfortably on the clit. The area that lies on the palm is larger and curves in towards the center where your fingers would be. The head of the toy is wide enough that it's able to lay along the hood and not move unless that's your intention. I wish the cover was easier to remove and when I received this toy, it was the first thing that gave me trouble. It's a weird design. Even when you think you have opened the compartment, it's still stuck. It might just be my toy, but I think it's a design flaw. Size makes this toy very easy to hide and travel with.

This toy come with only two speeds and while that doesn't seem impressive, it does have a really good strong vibe from each of them. They are both a straight buzz, but one is slightly milder than the next. All the power lies in one button which controls the power and the speeds. The button is easy to find in mid session since it's the only piece that's rubber coated. This toy isn't noisy since it's so small, so it's perfect for being discreet. Of course this toy is waterproof, the name says it all. It did perform really well too. Maybe that's why the battery cover is so hard to take off because there was no water inside the ring. It can be a bit slippery since it's plastic, but if you hold on to the grooves I mentioned earlier, you should be fine.

The Waterwhirl can easily be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water or by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol. Let air dry and place in proper storage to keep the toy protected from dust. I also suggest taking the batteries out before you clean just to be sure that no water comes in contact with them. Since this massager is plastic, you may use water, oil based or silicone lube.

The package is handy as it acts as a bubble for the toy. To actually take the toy out, you must squeeze both sides of the plastic shell and put out the case it sits in. It's completely clear so unless you don't mind someone seeing the toy, I don't recommend leaving it laying around. This case can also be used to store the toy.

My partner loved this massager and used it as well. He also liked that it wasn't animal shaped or penis shaped as many massagers are these days. Its simple but effective design won him over.
