To be honest the reviews for the neon lipstick suck! Not, the reviews themselves but the reviews on the product. They rated the toy very low, so when I ordered this I did not have any high expectations. The price was reasonable, and I wanted something that was discreet and powerful. I figured when getting into anything the best way would be open minded.

The neon lipstick by pipedream comes in a normal, clear package. One that can be reused for storage if needed, and it does make a lovely gift. The neon lipstick does have some writing on it and does offer some information, but not incredibly useful information. The casing itself is extremely small, so you can take it and place it into your pocket, or into a small drawer. The color of the casing matches the color of your toy, so depending on what color shade you choose to get that will be the color of your box. The lipstick does not come with any kind of instructions, but it is pretty obvious how to use it.


The neon lipstick itself is quite cute and small. I'd say that the lipstick with the cap on it about the length of your index finger. The neon lipstick has an actual total length of about 4 inches, and 1 ½ of it is insertable, although I would not recommend. The tip that is insertable is very small and can not be felt internally.


It works perfect as a clit vibe. The neon lipstick is made up of plastic and a material called soft touch. The body of the neon vibe is what is plastic; this includes the outer shell and the cap. The tip that comes in contact with your clit is also what mimics the actual lipstick is made of soft touch. Soft touch is a compounded to mimic real skin. The high molecular density of these materials allows them to be flexible and resilient. I love the way the tip of the lipstick feels in my hands and on my clit. The problem with super soft is that it is extremely porous, so when sharing you NEED to use a condom. The tip of the neon lipstick makes it perfect for pinpoint stimulation. It can only be used with waterbased lube.


The neon lipstick runs on FOUR LR44 watch batteries. I read a review that said it ran on THREE batteries. The batteries are included; all you have to do is remove the white paper and turn on your toy. It is waterproof, so you can take it into the shower.


When using you have to make sure that the top is securely on or you risk getting water into the battery compartment. I admit the vibrations are kind of loud. You can hear them through the covers, and if sitting in a silent room, you could hear it through a closed door. The vibrations are strong; I felt that they were perfect. The vibrations are controlled by a turn dial at the bottom of the toy. The vibrations are low, medium, and high. The only problem I kind of had was when screwing back on the bottom. When putting the bottom back on you can and most likely will turn on your toy. It is not a significant issue; it is just something I noticed. Also, when you remove the top to use the toy make sure you place it somewhere you won't loose it.


When cleaning the lipstick you can use it with mild soap and water, or your favorite toy cleaner. You should clean it before and after each and every use. When sharing it make sure you use a condom. The neon luv can be hard to clean at times, because juices can get into the sides of the lipstick head. This is why using with a condom would be the best idea. The small size of the neon lipstick makes it perfect for travel. You can just toss it into your bag, or place it into your pocket. You can not truly hide it in conspicuous view only because it does not actually look like lipstick. The colors are WAY too bright, and does not look like something women would wear on a daily enough for you to be carrying it around.

The very first time I used this toy, I actually was surprised. The vibrations were strong and are felt throughout the whole vibe. This could be a problem for some because there is no real, non vibrating area. It can give you a case of Itchy fingers. The tip of the lipstick makes pin point stimulation ideal. I do not require pin point stimulation, but I do like having it when it is available. The vibrations of this vibe are perfect for anyone, whether you are a beginner, or someone advanced. A major plus about this vibe is when using in water it does not decrease the intensity of the vibrations. I love that in a toy.
