The first time I used the Tender Touch Ribbed I had suspicions that this would become one of my favorites, and it's definitely on the top of my list. This vibrator is great for a beginner with its soft velvety touch, yet it is mighty in power for a more advanced user. This vibrator works well as a G spot or clitoral stimulator, but feels wonderful as a breast stimulator or neck massager. It is not suitable for anal play.

I loved the feel of the ribs while applying gentle pressure and thrusting in my vagina. The vibrator is bendable and makes it very forgiving and gentle. The tip also works well to stimulate the clitoris. You will need to use a water based lube, as the velvety touch has a little bit of drag.

The tender touch can be used alone or with a partner. This works well when your partner teases the sensitive spots as foreplay. I also used this alone when my hubby was away, and I found it powerful for the internal intensity and added a clit vibe for external stimulation, and the orgasm was amazing! The ribs gave off more of a "pop" sensation when thrusting than a bumpy "grind", that I must say was quite pleasing.

The shape is that of a traditional vibrator, but in its own unique variation. The ribs sort of tower at the top of the shaft, and have almost 6 inches of insertable length. The toy’s shape is straight, but it's bending capacity makes it flexible for insertion. You don't have to worry about having it in the right direction while inside, because it is shaped the same all the way around.

The size is suitable for a beginner because it isn't too intimidating. I believe a more advanced user would appreciate it as well, but personally I like a little more girth. The power and ribs make up for what it lacks in girth, in my opinion.

The dial is conveniently located at the bottom, and it was easy to adjust the speed while in use. The speed gently graduates from a low to very strong vibrations. I don't consider this toy to be loud, as you can't even hear it when it's inside of you. When it's outside, it sounds like an electric razor hum. The velvety touch feels wonderful, but needs a water based lubricant because the TPR-Silicone material causes a little bit of drag.

It is powered by 2 AA batteries that were easy to insert in the bottom of the vibrator.
I have used this toy a lot and the batteries still seem to be going strong, so it doesn't drain batteries super fast.

Don't let the name "Tender Touch" fool you; it may be tender to the touch, but it is strong. At the same time, you don't have to use it to the maximum power, either, making it a great toy for beginners and advanced users alike. I have been able to orgasm several times with the toy’s power on at only half speed.

The control is at the bottom, and you simply rotate the dial to adjust the speed. The vibrations are felt throughout the entire shaft, and are very intense at the tip of the shaft, which makes it great for clitoral stimulation as well.

I simply wash it before and after each use with a mild antibacterial soap, and since the toy is waterproof, I don't have to worry about getting water inside while cleaning it. With this toy, only water based lubricants are suitable.

The toy arrived in a nice package. It was secured in a plastic box and contained in a molded insert that had both a bottom and a lid over the insert, so my toy wasn't going anywhere. There was a window that displayed the toy, making me anxious to dig in and touch my Tender Touch! I have to admit, I'm like a kid at Christmas when I know I have a toy coming my way. I liked the take-a-peek window and I was pleased when I saw it came in an insert.

I personally store my toys in the insert in a set of plastic drawers. It just seems to keep them organized, neat and clean this way.

I found this toy to be different that the other vibrators I have for insertion and is fast becoming my favorite vaginal vibrator. The ribs really did make a difference for me.
