Teneo Uno- For when duo is just too much! After struggling so long with trying to find an exerciser that worked for what I thought was my strange anatomy, it was a joy to find the Uno fits me to a tee. If you have had trouble with standard two-ball designed exercisers, I really recommend giving the Uno a go. It does the job and is quite comfortable.
A great option for those with a tilted or dropped uterus
Loop is stiff, some may find it too small
I've purchased a number of Kegel exercisers over the years with no real success. The two ball design has always felt uncomfortable, like it was falling out. I could generally only wear one for a few minutes, before I would have to remove it. I decided to pose a question to the forums here, asking if one's vagina could be too short to use an exerciser, and the Uno was recommended. When the Uno arrived, I read the literature that came with it, and it stated that it was suitable "for beginners or for women with a dropped or tilted uterus."... well how about that? *I* have a tilted uterus! Was that my problem all along? Apparently so, as I have had no trouble using the Uno whatsoever.
The Uno is made of silicone, which is body safe and sterilizable by using a 10% bleach solution or boiling it for a few minutes. I just wash it with some antibacterial soap when I'm done using it, as it's not something I'll be sharing. Remember to only use water based lube with it, and it'll last you a good long time. It has a slight texture to the surface and a bit of drag, and the retrieval loop is stretchy, but not so much as to cause concern about it being hard to remove. The ball is quite solid, and when you shake it, you can feel the inner ball making its way around the inside. It doesn't take much movement at all. I noticed no smell from it, and didn't find any reason to taste it. The only issue I have with it structurally is the loop. While it is stretchy and flexible, the shape is pretty static. It wants to stick straight out from the ball. I could feel it when I sat down. I'm sure eventually I'll get used to it, but it is a little bothersome to me.
I am very pleased with the shape of the Uno, because I can actually use the thing! The little divot in the end makes it foolproof for inserting and positioning it. It is sized for beginners, and I think it works well in its purpose. I found it comfortable, and would find myself doing my kegels without even realizing it. That's the point, right? It is small enough to carry with you, (which I do, actually) and it's not really apparent what it is if you're just looking at it, so I'd call it discreet.
Its function is terribly simple- apply water-based lube, insert, and go about your day. It's a gentle reminder to flex those muscles! I wear it for about 4 hours at a time. Removal is easy, once you get used to the sensation. Just get in a comfortable position and give the loop a tug, and it'll come right out.
The Uno is completely comprised of 100% silicone, one of the best materials you can ask for. You can wash it with antibacterial soap and warm water for general cleaning, or if you need to sterilize it, use a 10% bleach solution, boil it for about three minutes, or place it in your dishwasher's top rack without soap. Only use a water based lubricant with it. Its package is actually great for storing it, as it's a simple clamshell in a small cardboard box with a window on the front.
The Uno comes in a relatively subdued red and gray box that I would say is rather discreet. I think it looks pretty classy. It has a picture of a hand holding the item on the back, and there is a window on the front so you can see it. It's got quite a bit of information about the Uno all over it, but to get the gist, you have to read. The enclosed literature is rather informative, and it comes with a sample of Fun Factory's Toy Fluid lubricant.
