The LAYAspot didn't hit the spot for me.
While the LAYAspot would probably be great for couples or very sensitive women, it didn't have enough buzz to do more than tickle me.Published: December 10, 2008
Pros:
size, color, style, design, fits nicely in hand, quiet
Cons:
shape, lack of settings, weak vibration, buttons difficult to push
Experience
As a warm up to the real thing, or as an accompaniment during it, the LAYAspot would probably be excellent. On it's own however, for me personally, the stimulation it provided wasn't worth the time it took to get there. I also had a bit of trouble changing the speeds and getting the buttons to respond. If you normally achieve orgasms easily it could be well worth it for you.

Both were really well tho and the music seting is fun feature!

So, I just posted a review of this toy on my blog and and am rereading some reviews here. I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.
Some reviewers state that this is a waterproof toy but my instructions clearly state that it is only splashproof. Perhaps the instructions have changed? Maybe Fun Factory decided it wasn't really waterproof? If you have this toy, what did your instructions say?
Furthermore, a few people said that they received silicone based BodyFluid with their LayaSpot but I received their water based lube and, again, my instructions said not to use silicone based lube (I believe, can't find them).
Also, I think it's just me but my Layaspot pretty much smelled god awful when I got it. Anyone else?

Seems like most of the ladies really like these, but that just goes to show that what works great for one might not be so great for another. You mentioned positioning might have been the problem, but do you also like your vibrations to be more concentrated, maybe? Thanks for the honest review.
More concentrated is probably a good way to put it. I just couldn't get the intensity I needed, which probably should be expected with the size that it is. I need to try it out as an accompaniment to couple sex - I have a feeling that it would be a great addition.
I'm glad to see there's someone else this didn't quite work for. An ex and I had bought one and tried to use it, we couldn't even figure out the different settings and such. We only brought it out the one time and quite honestly, I wish I hadn't spent the money on it because I haven't used it again. Oh well.
