Lucid dream petites no. 8 - g-spot vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by LadyM12

A purple, Lucid Dream Petites No. 8, G-spot Vibrator was my very first toy. It isn't a very large toy so it's ideal for anyone just starting out, or who prefers something smaller. The jelly material feels soft and smooth against the skin and the bullet provides a gentle, pleasant vibration against the G-spot or clitoris. Best of all, it's waterproof so you can take in the tub with you.

My no. 8 lived about three years, during which it received what I consider to be moderate use. Unfortunately, before its little motor gave out, the jelly "skin" started to peel a bit; it looked like my vibrator had leprosy! I have read since then that it is a good idea to use a toy cover with this particular model.

It does have a rather strong, rubbery smell so I washed it with a mild soap. The jelly is wonderfully soft and smooth but it's almost sticky. Lint, hair, etc. stick to it very easily.

I love the design, it hit my G-spot just right and was also effective when placed on the clitoris. It's small-ish, but not tiny; ideal for beginners. It fit in well with my toiletries when I traveled.

The bullet is located in the head of the vibrator and the intensity is controlled by using a dial at the bottom. While not completely silent, it was quiet enough that I used it in bed without waking my partner. It worked as well under water as it did under the sheets.

I kept it in my night stand, wrapped up in a little towel so that it didn't get dirty. Use only water based lubricants and wash regularly, as lint, hair, etc. stick to it very easily and can become rather irritating if not immediately removed.

The packaging was simple and I originally stored it in its box, but that became a bit tedious. I don't think it's suitable to give as an unwrapped gift. The instructions were informative and concise.
