The Glass Ben Wa Balls are some of the prettiest I have ever come across. They are smooth clear spheres of glass with yellow and green flowers at the center. They measure 1" across and look startlingly similar to a large marble. They come with a small jewelry style storage box which is great for those worried about discretion or travel. They are very comfortable to insert with just a little lube of your choice. Any lube is suitable given that these are glass, however if you are going to be playing with toys as well you will need to take their chemical sensitivity into consideration. The glass is Food grade, and free of all the harmful/irritating chemicals that come with some toys such as latex, and Pthalates. Glass is also non-porous.

For those new to kegel exercise I would recommend something slightly larger with a retrieval cord attached. Ben wa balls will NOT get lost forever in your vagina. There is simply no place for them to go but out. However some people may have difficulty extracting these small glass balls without some practice. They also can barely be felt and tend to travel upwards so unless you are adept at controlling your kegel functions you may have difficulty using them to their full potential. (NOTE: For those concerned about retrieval it may help to put the balls into a condom before insertion. This way when you put them in you have the option of tying the end, or leaving the curled end of the condom outside of your vagina making it easy to pull the balls back out. The latter may also help by making it slightly more difficult to keep the balls inserted which would lead to a more effective workout)
