The screaming octopus by Bushman Products

It is tiny enough to fit concealed in the palm of my hand. It is orange. It is shaped like an octopus. The Screaming Octopus by Bushman Products is quite unlike anything else in my toy box(es).

I had to give this toy a try for the pure novelty factor, and I was actually pleasantly surprised. The TPR Silicone is very soft and feels lovely against the skin, though it does tend to attract dust, lint and pet hair; please wash it thoroughly before each use (always a good idea with any toy!). The material is stretchy enough to allow for removal of the battery compartment through the tiny hole left for the on/off button, so you CAN change the batteries in this toy without much difficulty. The motor on this toy is very quiet, so it can be used quite discreetly. The toy is also waterproof, which is a nice feature for water play or for ease of cleaning.

The bottom of the little octopus has eight nicely nubbed tentacles protruding from it, which conduct the toy’s vibrations wonderfully. They create a feathery, tickling feeling that is perfect for nipple stimulation or foreplay with a partner. This toy is ideal for stimulating the scrotum, the head of the penis, the labia, or for tickling a partner during light bondage or blindfolding. (I just do not see an orange octopus being part of a heavy bondage session, no matter how effective.) There is an odd long appendage coming out of the octopus’s head that conducts less vibration and can be used for even more subtle tickling and teasing.

The Screaming Octopus can be used as a clitoral stimulator, and may even be enough to get you off if you are very sensitive to vibration or are already really horny. I found the motor a little lacking in power for this purpose, though, so this is not a toy on which I would rely for reaching orgasm. However, as a warm-up or addition to foreplay, it is fun, whimsical, and feels delightful!
