Diamond net thigh high - thigh highs discontinued by Baci - review by aliceinthehole

An Australian lingerie company with an Italian name, Baci brings us hosiery like we've never seen before. With these diamond net thigh highs I found the perfect mesh of comfort and my unique fashion sense. Unlike regular fence net or fish net patterns, the diamond net is intricate and in a league of its own, really.

For warm nights out on the town, these thigh highs don't provide any sense of warmth to your stems, but rather bear them all and accentuate them in a super sexy way. They turn any t-shirt and jean skirt into a super sexxed up ensemble in 2 minutes flat (that's the time it takes you to put them right side out and stick your legs through them!) They're perfect for pairing with corsets, bustiers or other sexy boudoir attire, and will complete any vixen's look.

These one-size thigh highs come in neon pink, neon green, or classic black. The wild array of color choices is much appreciated in a world where black and nude normally reign. The color queen in you can shine with the neons found here, or you can revert to a simple sexy black, if that's your taste. The hose are made for those 90-160lbs in weight and dress sizes 2-14. The ideal thigh circumference at the widest point is 19 - 21", but you can get by with tight thigh highs, if you don't mind them cutting into your legs a bit, up to 26".



My 19" thighs held these up perfectly at their widest point, mid-thigh. Throughout an evening of wearing these, and dancing my ass off as well, I didn't need to pull them up - not even once! This was a serious accomplishment, and I've never experienced this with thigh highs before.

Though they were still comfy at my thigh size, the mere 1" elastic thigh band did visually cut into my fat a bit. It's not a flattering look, but was so slight on me that I didn't mind. This effect will increase as your thigh size increases. At the maximum thigh size, 26" circumference, this effect will be dramatically worse. Keep this in mind when sizing yourself for potential purchase of these hose.

The pattern is really nice - five strands of 95% nylon/5% spandex intersect at 45 degree angles to create a loose diamond pattern. I found my 5'6" frame having no effort gliding around in these - they weren't tight at all, and I attributed that to the pattern. The diamonds stretch vertically with little to no effort, so those who are taller than my 5'6" frame will have no problem. Really short folks may find these bunching up too much, but it's certainly worth a try if you're over about 5'2", I'll bet.



The reinforced toe isn't nearly as reinforced as any I've ever seen, but still is quite functional, and even show-worthy. With fencenet designs criss crossing the 3.5" wide toe, your digits won't painfully poke through the ends of the hose, and you can still wear open-toed shoes or heels without worrying about them looking odd or frumpy. They're still sexy.

The toe seam can be placed easily underneath the toe and out of sight. It's not too thick so it never bothers me in shoes.

I got plenty of compliments on these the first time I wore them. They're super unique, and strutting down the street in a trendy sweater-jacket and green lacy mini-skirt, I felt super sexy. They turned a 'whatever' outfit into glam so quick, and I definitely made heads turn.

They came in the standard package, the photo of which is up there somewhere - a cardboard insert with a photo of the model on the front and back.

I can see these holding up much better than regular hose, because unlike mesh or solid pantyhose, they won't get runs. You'd have to come in contact with a seriously sharp piece of viciousness to cut through these thick strands.

To care for these bad boys, I'd toss them in a washer and hang them to dry. The tag says to hand wash them separately, but as they appear quite sturdy and well-made to me, and are merely nylon and spandex, I see no reason to take all those kinds of precautions.

These are still my favorite pair of sexy thigh highs. I love how they can vamp up any outfit and turn me into a sexy little vixen in no time.

One of the legs has a couple holes in the bottom of the foot - but I can and should fix that up easily with a needle and thread.

I'd totally buy these again, if I ever need to!
