These Balls Will Have You Saying "O"!

The Silicone O Balls are great for beginners because of their size, material, and ease of retrieval. They also boast a unique rumbling sensation, created by weights in the ball. They don't come with instructions, so be prepared to look directions up online if you're not familiar with Kegel exercises. Regardless, I highly recommend them.

Use

The Posh Silicone O Balls were my first foray into the world of Kegel exercisers, and I was not disappointed. The cord and attached ring make for easy removal, which was a concern of mine when looking at loose ben wa balls. These are easy to wear under clothes and are virtually silent, so they can be worn outside of the house without anyone being the wiser!

Material / Texture

The balls and cords are made of a velvety silicone. This is excellent, because many cheaper styles of balls are plastic connected with string, which makes them impossible to clean. The balls themselves are completely firm, while the cords can be easily bent and manipulated. This makes the external loop still comfortable during long sessions of use.

There is something of a "texture": there's a slightly raised image of a flower on both sides of each ball. Each color has a different design. I bought the pink, which has a large daisy. It doesn't do anything for stimulation, though; it's more of a decorative detail. I do find it slightly annoying because I'd imagine it makes cleaning a little more difficult than if the balls were completely smooth, but it's cute so I'll live with it.

I do recommend using lubricant because the silicone does drag a little bit.

    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

The balls themselves are pretty substantial and might seem a little intimidating at first, but this actually makes it easier to hold them in. This makes this set of balls ideal for a beginner. They're also rather weighted, which gives them great stimulation power.

The internal part of the cord (the portion that connects the two balls together) is unnecessarily a little long. Luckily, it bends easily and has no sharp edges so it doesn't cause any discomfort, but I do find the second ball a little hard to insert sometimes for that reason.

I would say this toy is really easy to travel with, since it is small, easily stored, and silent. They do look like a sex toy, but if anyone asks, you're just strength training!

Performance

One of the most interesting features of this toy is its construction. Inside the balls' solid exterior are a small set of ball-shaped weights. These rattle inside the toy as you move, providing an extra rumbling sensation that I found to be very enjoyable.

The toy is sturdy and well constructed, with no sharp edges typical of poorer quality toys. I found it to be very comfortable for long-term wear, even with clothes, though I would take a break after a few hours so as not to strain your pelvic floor muscles.

Care and Maintenance

Care is very easy: wash them in warm water with a mild anti-bacterial soap and allow to air dry. Because they are made of silicone, they can be disinfected by placed in a pot of boiling water. This allows them to be shared between partners.

Silicone toys should be used with a water-based lubricant. Silicone lubricants can destroy your toy.

Take care when storing these. Silicone can degrade over time if left in contact with other silicone toys. When not in use, I recommend placing these in a cloth bag or the original packaging.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Perhaps my biggest complaint about this toy is its packaging. First, the box is huge, given the size of the product. It's as big as the entire length of the toy, but the toy isn't packaged to fill the space. It's a huge waste of materials, which bothers me. The packaging, by the way, is not discreet, either. It shows a picture of the toy on the front, as well as "Silicone O Balls".

Second, it comes with no instructions. This is particularly frustrating because they have such a specific application. I ended up having to research online how to use them properly.
