Think Pink Inked!

This toy definitely looks unique and makes an interesting addition to any collection, especially for those who love tattoos or that pin-up look and don't want anything too large. However, as an actual vibrator it leaves a little to be desired due to its shape and noisiness.

Use

The slim size of this vibe and its smooth texture, coupled with its gorgeous tattoo design make it perfect for those just entering the world of sex toys or those looking for something a bit more aesthetically pleasing. The Inked's strong vibrations and sleek shape make it ideal for insertion and thrusting. The pointed tip is nice for a bit of focused stimulation on your clit or nipples or for some external teasing, but I think this toy really works best for internal stimulation. Having said that, I'm sure with a bit of imagination you could use this toy in plenty of other ways. However, as the Inked Vibe is fairly slender and doesn't have a flared base, anal play is definitely not recommended!

Material / Texture

Upon opening the box I didn't notice any sort of scent, except for a very faint plastic smell. After a quick wash in the sink with some soap and water I gave it a tentative lick and am pleased to report there isn't really any taste to it either. The Inked Vibe is made out of super smooth and rigid ABS plastic and with a bit of lube it's very slick and easy to insert, which means you can thrust and play around without any fear of getting caught on strange bumps and lumps. However, the plastic doesn't have any give, so it's wise to be a little cautious with your thrusting, so as not to bump your cervix. The tattoo design is actually a decal, which is firmly stuck to the vibe and very smooth, so you can't feel it once inserted. I tried to scratch at the edge with my nail, to see how easily it would peel off, but couldn't get any sort of grip on it, which makes me fairly confident this should withstand plenty of play.

Design / Shape / Size

In person, I think the tattoo decal looks even better and really is what sets this toy apart from others. Whilst I'm not a huge fan of skulls, the design on the pink version is a combination of lips and banners and other bits of pieces and it looks really neat, without being as ghoulish as the design on the black and white versions.

This vibe is named 'superslim' and whilst it isn't the thinnest toy you could find out there on the market, it is definitely sleek and slim, making it easy to thrust with and insert. For someone new to sex toys or looking for something on the smaller side, this size would be great as it's not at all threatening.

Similarly, the length isn't too imposing either, coming in at around 6", which left plenty of room for me to maneuver the vibe with once inserted, without being uncomfortably long. Whilst the rounded point at the end is nice for external stimulation, especially on the clit, it doesn't really add anything once inserted.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Inked Vibe takes two AA batteries, which were inserted by twisting off the screw base. However, I noticed the guide which details which directions the batteries should be inserted was actually a rolled piece of paper around the edge of the battery compartment. This made it a little difficult for me to get the batteries in, so I simply slid it out and put it aside. I'm not sure if this was intended to be removed, but it was easier to insert the batteries without it and the process is fairly self-explanatory anyway.

This multi-speed vibe is easily controlled by turning the dial on the base and starts at a fairly strong lowest setting, to a powerful highest setting. None of the vibrations are really light enough to be used for slow teasing, but the lower settings still feel nice when used externally. However, it is really quite noisy and you might want to wait until you have the house to yourself before giving it a whirl. Mine can be heard clearly through a closed door on the highest setting and the settings below that are all fairly loud as well, definitely able to be heard through covers. I took this for a spin in the shower to test out how waterproof it was and found in the bathroom it was really unpleasantly loud! Yet, it held up well under the water, as the battery compartment closes very tightly.

Care and Maintenance

As this vibe is made of hard plastic the clean-up is very simple. This also means it's compatible with all types of lubes, so feel free to crack out that silicone lube you love and treasure. A spray with toy-cleaner or a quick rinse with soap and water should do the trick to clean it up for personal use. However, if you're sharing it's always wise to use a condom!

Packaging

The vibe comes in a bold red and black package with a big clear window to show you the toy inside. Thankfully, it doesn't have any half-naked women in suggestive poses to distract you from the neat design on the vibe and it's an easy to open plastic box (which didn't cause any broken nails or frenzied tearing in my excitement to get to the actual product). There is a little pamphlet inside with instructions on how to insert the batteries as well as the usual warnings.

Personal comments

Though this vibe looks great sitting in my toy box, I think it'll stay mainly as a conversation piece, rather than become something I reach to regularly. I really like the tattoo decal design and it perks up a baby pink color which would otherwise be a bit too girly for my liking and is definitely unique. However, the actual toy doesn't really suit me very well. The girth isn't quite thick enough to satisfy me and the super straight and rigid design with that pointed end makes thrusting a little uncomfortable as it doesn't contour to my body and often pokes me in the cervix. Additionally, I'm not super fond of internal vibrations and though the ones the Inked produces are strong, they don't really make up for a shape which doesn't work for me that well. Having said all this the toy has definitely has its good points, but also a handful of flaws which meant it didn't fully capture me.
