This gemini was not twice the fun.
This is a pretty toy for beginners to see how much they can take, or for people that like larger toys. It is a basic vibrating dildo, so I would not recommend it for people that like g-spot stimulation.Published:
Pros:
Aesthetically pleasing, firm silicone transmits strong vibrations nicely.
Cons:
Larger than listed, not water proof.
Use
Initially, I did not like how the motor is located midway down the shaft and the tip is just silicone since I like strong vibrations on my clitoris. The silicone is firm, so when the vibrator is on its higher speeds, the vibrations can be felt throughout the dildo (but are most intense at the base). After using the toy more, I found that placing the source of vibrations on my clitoris and grinding against the toy allowed for stimulation of my labia and perineum. Additionally, with thrusting the vibrations are not diminished and can still be felt externally. If you have a shallow g spot, the slight bulge might be sufficient for g spot stimulation if you tilt the toy.

Material / Texture
The Gemini Astrovibe is made of 100% silicone. It has a slight scent to it that reminds me of play dough. The texture is soft and offers a bit of drag. The dildo does pick up a bit of lint as it is made of silicone.

- Flexible
- Light odor

Design / Shape / Size
The design is pretty cool. There are two sets of hands, and the finger tips at the tip of the shaft make a heart shape. The base of the dildo is slightly wider than 1 3/4", with a circumference of 5 3/4" it's closer to 1 7/8" in diameter.

Functions / Performance / Controls
There is a dial on the base (in red) that twists to control a steady vibration speed, which is pretty easy to use and slides easily with one hand during use. I like that the cap does not twist off when increasing speed. It is easy to twist the cap off when lowering the speed or turning the toy off. However, this could be seen as a very quick way to turn off the toy rather than spinning the dial all the way down if you're unexpectedly interrupted.
On high, the vibrations are very strong, but the toy remains quiet. It is audible on its highest setting, but I can't hear them under a thick comforter or when I leave it on in my room and listen from outside of the door.
The box says that the toy is splash proof, however some water did get onto my batteries when I washed the toy. There is no o ring to make a seal and keep the water out. I would not recommend bringing this toy into the shower or using it if you squirt or have a heavy menstrual flow. As for lube, I recommend a water-based gel and not runny lube to keep your toy safe.

Care and Maintenance
Since it's not waterproof, you can't stick this one in the dishwasher. I would take care when washing it with soap and water since the cap is leaky and there isn't a rubber o-ring to keep water out. I always remove the batteries before washing so that the circuit doesn't short out.
It does not come with a pouch, so you can store it in the box (if you have the room for it) or one of your own containers (I sew my own pouches). I would not store it with other silicone toys since they could get ruined.
As for lube, I suggest a water-based gel and no silicone lubes so that the toy will not degrade.

- Difficult to store
- Easy to clean
Packaging
The toy is packaged in a 3"x3"x11" box with a clear plastic window. It comes with a pamphlet with pictures of all of the dildos in the Astrovibrator line of FunFactory toys, two AA batteries, and a single use packet of lubricant.

- Minimal

- Would make a nice gift
Personal comments
I rated this toy as three stars since it is made of high quality silicone and has a beautiful design. However, I do not like that this toy is not water proof; I might modify it if I can find an o-ring to install so I can worry less about damaging it during cleanings. Also, I did not like that the toy was so large. Since I cannot fit more than the first 2 1/2 inches in with insertion, the majority of the toy is a handle for me. Also I wished that the motor was in the tip rather than in the middle of the toy. It took a bit of exploring to find out how to make the toy work for me.

Sorry it wasn't a big winner, but on the bright side, at least it's yellow, right?
