Cupid ripples - traditional vibrator by Shaki Toys - review by unfulfilled

This is a textured traditional vibrator used for vaginal insertion. It can also be used on other erogenous zones that enjoy stimulation. I wasn't able to fully insert it so I used it as a clitoral stimulator, but the motor was too weak for me to obtain any satisfaction from it. However, it is still a nice warmup to other things.

You can use this solo or with a partner inserting it for you.

It is best suited for those who prefer thicker, textured toys that do not require a lot of power to achieve climax.

It is made out of TPR silicone which rates a six on the safety scale. It is considered a silicone based rubber compound that is considered to be latex free, phthalates free, and hypoallergenic.

It has twenty-nine ripples around the toy. The top is solid and the bottom is solid, but the shaft is textured with these ripples. The sections I was able to insert did not cause any additional pleasure or discomfort to me. I know this may not be the case for those who are sensitive to texture, but that was my experience with the texture.



It has a visible seam running the length of it, but it can't be felt during use.

It has no smell to it even right out of the package.

Only the head is flexible, the rest of the shaft is hard and has no give to it.



It is best suited for those who prefer toys with texture to them and not smooth toys.

It comes in pink with a white ring around it at the twist cap.

It is the same size as two Evolved Roulettes I have, the high roller and the straight up. It is 7 3/4" long with an insertable length of 6 1/2". The head measures 3 3/4" arouund and going down the toy it measures 4 1/2", 5", 5 1/4", and 5 1/2" right above the battery cap.



It is best suited for those who prefer girthier toys, unlike myself who prefer smaller, thinner toys.



As far as traveling with it, if you have a larger purse or bag you would be able to fit this in there. If you do decide to travel with it, make sure to remove the batteries before traveling.

Although it doesn't have a phallic head, it's still very noticeable as a sex toy so if discretion is important to you, I'd recommend hiding it before company came over.

It has a very easy to use push button control that is located at the bottom of the toy. Push it one time to turn it on and continue pushing the button to cycle through each of the vibration levels and to turn it off.

It has eight levels of vibration patterns. The first three are low, medium, and high steady vibrations.
4: rev up
5: pulse on-off-on-off
6: fast pulse
7: steady
8: random of all of them

I'm a fan of steady vibrations so I don't use the pulsation modes.

The buzzy vibrations can be felt throughout the entire length of the toy, but overall the power was just not there for me. I require a very high 4 Vroom to 5 Vroom to be able to achieve climax, and this is a solid 3 Vroom at the highest setting.

It requires 2 AA batteries that were not included. The batteries are located under a twist off cap located at the bottom of the toy.



It is noisy and could be heard through a closed door so if quiteness is important to you, then this is not the toy for you.

It is best to clean before and after each use with warm water and mild soap or your favorite antibacterial toy cleaner or wipe. The ripples can be a pain to clean so you have to take extra care that all lubricant is thoroughly cleaned off of there.

Since it is silicone based, it is best to use water based lubricants only with this toy.

I picked this up when it was offered as a free gift with purchase a while back. It is larger than I normally get, but at the time I was experimenting with varying sizes, textures, and materials so I thought it would be great addition to my toybox.

I wasn't fully able to insert this because it is quite a bit thicker than I am used to. It's also not as strong as I need my toys to be so overall, I'm going to give this toy a 3 star rating. I wish it was made out of pure silicone rather than the TPR silicone as well.
