And I thought the Luna beads were versatile! The Ami set is amazing. It is a set of three differently sized vaginal exercisers. The first being a large 1.5 inch ball that is inserted and held by your PC muscles. The second is slightly more difficult, it weighs a little more and is two 1.25 inch balls connected (smart balls style) in the middle. Because they are heavier they give a better workout, and because they are more slender they are more difficult to hold in place. The third exerciser is heavier and smaller than the second (it is a whopping 1 1/8 inches thick and weighs about twice as much as the middle piece).

To use these you can just pop them in, or use a dab of lube to help get them where they need to be (although, lube might help them fall out faster). Once you're done using them just push out (bear down) and they will come back out. I will say not to be ridiculous and try to use these anally, if you do...I told you so.

Also: No silicone lubricant.

The material making up the set is a velvety silicone, which is awesome because you can place a 10:1 (or 10%) bleach solution to clean the set after each use. Because they are silicone they are easily cared for, but they do collect lint, so clean them before each use, and don't use a silicon lubricant. I wouldn't recommend boiling because I am not sure it is safe due to the small plastic guard around the base of the retrieval cord.

These are all firm, but in the two more advanced ones the center of the two connected balls moves around more and bends more easily than other exercisers I have tried, which lends to easier insertion and a more comfortable wear all day long.

Truthfully, this set can be used for advanced and novice users alike. Because of the varying sizes and weights of the balls, the set can be used by a beginner (or anyone simply looking to work their PCs), and that person can work their way through the different steps to stronger muscles...which means a stronger orgasm, and stronger bladder muscles.

I kind of told you the size up in "Use," sorry. BUT! I will say that this is a great size set and will work well, especially if you have never used a vaginal ball before. Ami offers (duh) the three sizes, but I will mention the one small downside I found here. I am very well versed in Ben Wah Balls, so I do wish there was another step down in size. I also realize that not everyone is like me, so overall this is an amazing set.

The longer, more narrow shapes in the more difficult pieces allows for the heavier weights to fall faster. This means your body must work harder to hold the Ami in place. This is ingenious of course.

The Ami set worked wonderfully for me (aside from the fact that I want a smaller one) and I believe the size and design of the overall set is so versatile that it can work for anyone. I feel confident enough to be able to wear the Ami out without it falling out and humiliating me (Ben Wah balls? Not so much).

These are discreet in a way, unless you know what the general design is, you won't realize these fall in the "sex toy" genre. I leave mine on my dresser, because everyone knows I swear by vaginal balls...I don't make them out to be for pleasure, more for need.

And here is where we get into what you really wanted to know. The Ami set performs like magic. If you begin with the Ami 1 (the largest and lightest) you will be able to see the improvement you make. Since I use vaginal exercisers regularly, I didn't notice a huge difference, but that doesn't keep me from loving this set.

The balls inside the silicon do move around, and some may even find that arousing. I am not one to really get enjoyment out of that, but I have heard others do. While you move about and do your daily tasks the balls roll inside the exerciser and cause a light sensation against the vaginal wall. While this may not arouse me, it does remind my body to do the squeezes I need to get done to strengthen my PC muscles.

The retrieval cord is GREAT! Because it is silicon (most are nylon) it can be sanitized repeatedly. Due to the ease of use and comfort levels I highly recommend this set to every woman.

The Ami can be cleaned with water and a basic toy cleaner or with a 10% bleach solution. Again, I don't recommend boiling.

Storage is provided courtesy of Je Joue. The box is perfect for storage; it has a place for each Ami (the 1, 2, and 3) and it is kept clean and safe in the beautiful package the toy came in. The black packaging not only stores the Ami, but ties shut and looks sexy and visually appealing in almost any room.

I wouldn't share my Ami, but you can due to the silicon as long as your set is cleaned between shares. Also, I want to remind you to use a water based lubricant only. Silicon will degrade the quality of silicon in the toy.
