Fingerless ruffle gloves - glove discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by mistressg

I got these gloves with the intention to wear them with a costume, and possibly with other outfits that I think they could go well with. I like that they are a cute, cheap accessory. You can pair them with all kinds of costumes, or with a cute outfit. Lace seems to be very trendy right now. Personally, I love lace (especially black lace), trendy or not. When I first got them and got them out of the package, I noticed that they were almost irritating, the fabric was so dry. I remembered that I had read one review that recommended soaking the gloves in fabric softener, which I found very helpful, so I took heed to the fabric softener suggestion. I filled a mason jar with water and a cap full of fabric softener, and left them overnight. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to try something else, as I know there are many people who have a bad reaction to fabric softener. By morning, I rinsed them thoroughly under water to make sure all the fabric softener was washed off, so as to not irritate my skin. Once they were dry, I noticed they were a bit less stiff and rough against my skin, but still far from soft. I'm not sure what else I could do to make them any less rough, and any suggestions would be helpful. I would give them five stars, if not for the roughness of them.

I would say these could be worn during intercourse, but you should NOT plan on giving a hand job with these gloves on. That would just be cruel. I don't think anyone would want to wear these during masturbation either. The material isn't soft or silky at all. The lace is very stiff.

To care for them, I would not put them in a washing machine unless you have a lingerie bag. I would hand wash them, as they are lace and seem very delicate, and let them air dry.

Also, these gloves fit well on my hands. They are one size fits most, and if you have average or small sized hands, you will find that these fit comfortably in terms of sizing. If you have bigger hands, you might not like them so much, and the fabric is not at all stretchy.

I don't dislike these gloves, but I never get much use from them. If I had a reason to wear them more often, I would probably like them more, but I've only really worn them once for a short time.
