Colt waterproof silver rod - vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Review

I chose the Colt Waterproof Silver Rod by California Exotics for one main reason; looks. This dildo is the sexiest (to me) toy I have found on the entire EdenFantasys site. In the past, I have reviewed some pretty wild toys. Un-coincidentally, while these toys are highly functional, they have not been very sexy. Unfortunately, this one, as expected, looks appealing, but does not perform as nicely.

Let’s start off again with the packaging. The toy, manufactured by Colt (a men’s company) was very simple in design. Though Colt is a masculine company, I liked that the packaging did not overtly portray this. The instruction manual included was disappointing. It told me how to install batteries in six languages and four designs. If I really didn’t know how to get this baby running, it would have taken my several minutes to match up English and my design of toy. I guess now I know why guys hate instructions so much now.

The toy’s design is also very simple. The Colt Silver Rod is a definite beginner’s toy. The shaft is tapered for easy insertion, and includes a dial base to set this toy to the perfect speed. Although, this toy can be perfectly set, it does not get very powerful. I had to stay on the highest setting and only used it to get myself turned on. For the little buzz it does pack, this toy is awfully loud. I give it five bees (based on its size and power), and two vrooms (on its highest setting).

Though it is not very powerful, it is very easy on the eyes. The outside of the shaft is smooth to the touch. Clear plastic covers genuine chain link nestled in between shiny black hard plastic. For looking pretty tough, I wish the toy were more powerful.

So let’s conclude this shall we: The toy looks great, but doesn’t perform very well. Two stars.
