Form 2 - discreet vibrator by Jimmyjane - review by Coralbell

Form 2 has very unique and stimulating vibrations. I was tempted to give it 5 vrooms because although it doesn't have as much brute strength as a wand, I find it just as stimulating due to the type of vibrations and the dual motors. The vibrations are hard to describe. The only toy I can compare it to is Form 6, and even those are not the same. The vibrations are medium in pitch and feel like they would be rumbly except that the motors are located right in the tips of the ears, below a thin layer of silicone. I'd call them fluttery vibrations, rather than smooth, but fluttery sounds weak, so maybe thrummy would be a better word.

In certain situations the motors realign and the vibrations shift from the ears to the base of the toy and become louder. This is what is known as the flaw. The most common trigger for me is if the ears get bent to one side. I need pressure and I can get it with Form 2 as long as I hold it straight so that the ears aren't bending. I can also squeeze the ears inward without a problem.

Form 2 has 5 speeds and 4 functions, and the speed can be adjusted for each function. The + and - buttons adjust the speed and the ~ button cycles through the modes. Holding the - button quickly turns it off and Form 2 remembers the last setting used and will go back to it the next time it's turned on. The first mode is Constant, which is steady vibrations. The second mode is Oscillate which is supposed to have steady vibrations with a pulse that alternates from side to side. The Oscillate mode doesn't work on my Form 2 because it triggers the flaw every time one side pulses. The third mode is Thrum and the motors in each ear rev at the same time. I'm not a big fan of vibration patterns, but I find this one fun to use because it makes my vagina clench with each rev of the motors, like automatic kegels. The last mode is Pulse. It's supposed to be a fast pulsing that alternates sides, but to me it just feels like both ears are pulsing at the same time. There is also a "secret" mode that cycles through the settings and is activated by quickly pressing +-+-+-

Form 2 has a unique design which is based on the clit stimulators on rabbit vibrators, but has a motor in the tip of each ear. Jimmyjane describes it as "Sensation in Stereo." I usually use vibrators either below my clit where my inner labia join or above my clit, on the shaft and hood. With Form 2 I get vibrations in both areas at the same time, and they also travel indirectly though my clit. It can also be used sideways to stimulate the legs of the clit, but it's a bit wide for me to use that way. I have to use my other hand to spread my labia because if I don't the skin touching it will activate the flaw. Since it seems to not work properly while touching loose skin someone who has a large clitoral hood or inner labia might have a problem with the flaw when using it vertically as well.

Form 2 is made from smooth, matte silicone with a metal base. It has no openings so it's fully waterproof. Unfortunately, using it underwater activates the flaw, but it can be used in the shower and is easy to clean. You can wash it with soap and water or sterilize it with a 10% bleach solution. There is a small seam that can be felt with my fingers, but it doesn't bother me during use.

The charger is a white plastic square with an indentation for the Form 2 to sit in and a metal pin that conducts electricity into the base of the toy. A light hidden behind the silicone will illuminate when you have it in the proper position, but it doesn't turn off when the vibrator is fully charged. When you pick the Form 2 up off of the charger, the light will flash 1, 2, or 3 times to indicate the level of charge. A full charge lasts about 2 hours on high and the light will flash when the battery is about to die. It can't be overcharged and Jimmyjane recommends leaving your Form 2 on the charger so that it is always ready to go.

Form 2 comes in an attractive box with full instructions and a 3 year warranty. The box isn't suitable for storage, but I keep mine on the charger anyways.
