Unique and Interesting (We Vibe I)

Silicone! Very easy to wipe clean. Nearly silent, I could wear it at work if I wanted to. Stayed put inside me while walking around. FYI: Read The Friggin Manual! Otherwise you'll stare at it in confusion for awhile. The first time you plug it in for charging, you'll have to sink the charging "pin" into an indentation - there's only 3 dimples, they're small but if you look at the tip of the toy, you'll see them in eyes-nose formation. Plug it into the nose.
The vibrations were not enough to aid in getting either of us off during sex, but it was a very nice addition. No matter how wet you get, I would seriously suggest lube, especially if your man is average or above in girth. It was a tight fit for us when he first entered, but that made it better for me. Unless you are in a silent room, I think it's very quiet. Not audible beyond say, 5 feet.
It was very easy for me to insert, and easy to get it positioned right. You must charge this personal massager for 24 hours before use, but I was able to tell how intense the vibrations were going to get upon just 7 hours of charging. Play around with it for awhile, because it's going to be very difficult to flick that switch yourself in use - it's slippery when wet and simply not an easy-to-reach location (the switch location faces your belly once it's inserted). Honestly I found that the best way was to flick the switch using the tip of my (very short) fingernail, but as it is a silicone "sleeve", they tell you not to do that. However, to press on the "indentations" (the spots that are just on either side of the switch) with your finger can result in frustration. Or it did for me.

Experience
I feel this is best for those who are perhaps more sensitive, as I didn't feel the clit vibrations were enough for the toy to get me off that way. If I use it as a solo toy, I'll need to add in more clit vibrations. Good fit. Love the case!! I've been "instructed" to take this to work to use as a teaser. It won't get me off like a bullet vibe, but it sure will drive me crazy!

40 months after original review
When I first wrote this review I owned the original We-vibe - it had only two speeds and a crappy button. With the second version they upgraded the button and added in a bunch of pattern/pulsation functions. Between all three incarnations of the We-Vibe I lean towards #3, the one with the remote. It's still not perfect though if you require moderately-high or more vibrations.

We decided on this toy because the store employee allowed us to see one out of the box and hold it and see what it does. by going to the store I got a better view of other things here that I was interested in.

OK, it seems like quite a few people have had trouble using this during couple play, myself included. Has anyone got any useful tips? The main problem is that once it's in and my BF is penetrating, the part that rests on the clitoris just moves around too much and I can't seem to orgasm because of it. We-Vibe II - Has it worked for you?

A simple yes or no works for me. Please feel free to get in depth on why or why not it didn't work well. I'm thinking of this as a gift for my husband on his belated birthday.
Also, has this caused discomfort to anyone's penis? -
It works better for me as a solo toy. My husband is on the smaller side of average and he was able to fit inside of me with this comfortably, but I prefer smaller girthed things so this plus him was a little too much for me. I haven't revisited it in a while though.

I think it's because the penis has a tendency to slide beside it rather than under it which makes it move around more. Still experimenting with it.

It is really quite easy to insert. The motors are smaller than a penis, and it is really thin where the two motors connect.

The vibrations have been stronger on the inside as opposed to the outside for me. It's a hit or miss. I love mine.
