Velvet touch vibe is my all time favorite vibe!

Use

This vibrator is best used when ever you want stimulation to add some spice to your sexual experiences! I love using it on my clitoris the most, but it also feels so amazing inside too. I have also used it on my partner after her softball games to gently rub out her stiff throwing arm. The uses for this toy are numerous. This toy will work best for anyone! It is a simple, very traditional vibrator (except for the four shades it comes in!) The turn dial allows you to select your level of stimulation. I use mine every night before sex with my partner, or just for a bit of relaxation before bed.

Material / Texture

This smooth vibrator works the best for me when I use a little of my water-based lubrication. I would only suggest using water-based, or silicone based for this toy. I love the texture, because it keeps the friction down when I am using it on my clit. I have had this vibrator for some time now, and I have grown through the use. I would recommend this for everyone, beginners and experts. It is always a plus to have a good vibrator at the ready.

Design / Shape / Size

I like the design, because it lends itself to be more multi-functional. I stimulate my clit, then my g-spot with ease. I ordered this Doc Johnson to replace one from a lesser brand, and it has out-shined and out-lasted several other vibrators. I can easily slip it under my mattress to hide it quickly, and it stores easily enough in my toy bag (kept beside my bed!)

Functions / Performance / Controls

In my opinion, I like this vibrator (obviously) The vibrator is located in the tip of the toy. Though the vibrations can be felt throughout the shaft. The dial control is at the opposite end of the toy, and I can easily turn it up or down while in use with just a finger or two. The velvet is not the most noisy toy I own, but it definitely makes me get pretty loud! It is not waterproof.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is very easy to clean. I like to use my toy wipes for a quick clean up, and every few days I use warm water (careful of not getting water in the top by the dial) and antibacterial foamy soap to ensure health and cleanliness!

Packaging

This toy came packaged in a plastic box, just lift the lid and it is ready to go (after insertion of 2 AA batteries!) I used the box at first for storage, until I misplaced it. You may also want to wrap it in gift wrap, or, since it is a nice box, just put a bow on top!

I LOVE my velvet touch vibrator. I have only recently had to replace the first one I bought. The only reason that I needed to buy it again was because I broke the first one's turn dial to turn it on. The entire lid cracked when, after cleaning it, I dropped it on the tile floor in the bathroom!

All is well because I was quickly able to replace the lost vibe with an identical twin. I would definitely suggest that everyone have one of these vibrators. The other vibrators that I have purchased since do not have the same frequency or intensity of vibrations.

Speaking of, I believe I hear it calling my clit's name!

  • Getting rid of stains on my Velvet Touch vibe?

      Hi, I accidentally used my Velvet touch vibrator during my period (like I started going and I didn't notice that I was already spotting). Since then it has some mild yellowing (I got it in lavander) and I don't know how to get rid of the stains! It does not seem to have an odor or anything, but does anyone have any tips on how I can get rid of the stains? I love this toy and its my first and only one I own, but I'm so annoyed with the staining!

      Any help would be appreciated!
    • You could try cleaning it with a bleach solution, but honestly it might just be stained. I'd say that if it doesn't smell and you've cleaned it real well, that might just be it. It won't affect the usability at all though, which is good. :)

      Cherry, In what ways does it stop working fast? Do you mean that the battery dies quickly? Or that the machine itself is faulty? I've had this toy for over four years, only had to change the battery once, and it has remained clean, odorless, retained its color, vibrations are as strong as when I first purchased/used it, and it never malfunctioned on it. Although it's a very inexpensive toy, it has outlasted all others in pleasure and in worth! Go for it!
    • I had mine for at least a year before it stopped working. When it stopped working, there was rust under the twisting part of the cap, so I likely caused it to stop working by not being careful when washing it. This was a FABULOUS toy when I had it, and I would buy another if I needed another basic vibe. For $13, you can't really go wrong. Don't abuse it (drop it, get the cap or insides wet) and it should last quite a while.
