The Luxe Renew is a surprising little wonder, It is made from silicone and plastic, is quiet, waterproofed and carries a decent punch. It can be used for solo play for both boys and girls, you can use it with foreplay and all over your body. It works great as a clitoral vibrator and you can have a small portion for insertion. It is good to run up and down your vulva area or in your perianal area to stimulate some rimming actions.



The Luxe Renew is made from hypoallergenic, non porous silicone. The silicone rates a 10 on the Eden Safety scale and is latex and phthalates free. It comes in black, purple, and pink. It has no tastes or smells to it. It is completely smooth with no textures. The silicone area of the toy is squishy and somewhat flexible, the very tip is really flexible. The firm plastic is in the handle area. It does have a band of silver plastic where the cap screws onto the silicone area. You need to pay attention to the seam with cleaning. This silicone does collect some lint and hair but not as bad as some silicones will. The silicone portion of this toy does carry the vibrations really well



The Luxe Renew is a total of 6 inches long with the plastic handle portion being 3 inches. The Silicone portion is 2 3/4 inches long and has a diameter of 1 3/4 inches. It has an insertable area of 2 1/2 inches.



The Luxe Renew functions on 2 N sized batteries that are included with the toy. The handle portion unscrews and you have an O ring present which does make it waterproof. There is one button to turn the Luxe on and to change the patterns and settings. You do have to cycle through all of the settings to turn it off, There is no memory to the settings. The Luxe Renew has 7 total settings, a low, medium and high vibrations and then you have 4 patterns. The patterns include an escalation, a fast pulsation, a slower stronger pulsation, and 3 short and one long pulse. It has a cross between buzzy and rumbly vibrations depending on the settings. I could say that it has a vroom of 3. Which is pretty impressive for it’s size and price. It is very quiet and cannot be heard over the covers.



You can clean this one with antibacterial soaps and water, it is alright to submerge this one as the waterproof O ring really does work. You can also use your toy wipes. I store mine in a plastic baggy. I have heard a great many debate on the silicone storage issue but I am not sure of the purity of some of my silicone toys and I am not willing to ruin them by doing a flame test. So I store them in plastic baggies to keep them safe and free from lint and dust.

The packaging is the terrible plastic boxes that I really hate because when it breaks apart it gets really sharp and you can cut yourself with them. It is not discreet packaging and you can see the product through the box.

I am really impressed, it has power and works well for me as a clitoral vibrator. I also like it for my perianal area. It is not my favorite but it does lean towards the upper end. For a battery powered toy I would suggest this one for beginners and intermediate users who have not moved onto the higher end toys. This one is very economical and you get your money’s worth from it.
