Vibration Without Fatigued Limbs

Laya is a discreet and easy to use toy, with vibrations powerful enough to satisfy most users without waking the neighbors. It's wonderful for masturbation, good in most couple's sex positions, and comes in enough colors that guys who want vibration can pick one they like too.
Published: September 15, 2009
Pros:
Strong vibrations, ergonomic design, lightweight, soft texture, lots of color combos.
Cons:
Pattern vibrations are not adjustable, not great for partner sex in missionary.

Follow-up commentary
After having this vibe for about 7 months total, the only thing that's changed is that it has gotten a bit louder. Not enough to take it up to 3 bees, but enough that it has a noticeably buzzier tone. In my opinion, this is pretty much the par for the course with objects having lots of moving mechanical parts and enjoying frequent (almost daily) use.

I've also found it's REALLY good to batteries. Maybe it's because I only use the low-middle settings, but I never have to change them more often than every eight weeks or so.

All in all, I still think this is a really good vibrator and I'd happily buy it again.

not sure but we have the Laya and the better than chocolate ( the music ed) both have their good points, but the laya is a little smaller and compact. Both were really well tho and the music seting is fun feature!

So my partner and i decided to check out this site and order a bunch of new items. I just ordered the LAYAspot and it should be here friday! Ehh i cant wait! How does everyone feel about this cute toy?
    • reading the MANY many reviews on the toy will give you a good idea about the overall feelings and consensus of the toys.
    • it's nice that there are so many user submitted reviews on this site. it's so hard to choose a toy, especially an expensive one, with only the manufacturer description.

  • LayaSpot Questions
    • So, I just posted a review of this toy on my blog and and am rereading some reviews here. I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.

Some reviewers state that this is a waterproof toy but my instructions clearly state that it is only splashproof. Perhaps the instructions have changed? Maybe Fun Factory decided it wasn't really waterproof? If you have this toy, what did your instructions say?

Furthermore, a few people said that they received silicone based BodyFluid with their LayaSpot but I received their water based lube and, again, my instructions said not to use silicone based lube (I believe, can't find them).

Also, I think it's just me but my Layaspot pretty much smelled god awful when I got it. Anyone else?

Just looking for different experiences with these things..

I've heard that fun factory toys can stink to high heaven, and I have no idea why they would because they're supposed to be 100% silicone. I have other silicone toys and they don't smell at all. Maybe it's not the toy itself but the packaging that surrounds it? Sorry I'm not much help, but the smell that people talk about with FF toys is enough for me to be wary of buying one.

I have since pitched my instructions, but I think mine said splashproof rather than waterproof. I got the Toyfluid (water-based) lube, and mine was smell-free! All of my FF toys have been totally odorless, actually.
