Usually I hear that it is hard to buy a rabbit vibrator because it won't "fit" right.

I loved the way this vibrator was a perfect fit for me.

However, when I use a vibrator, I expect to be able to feel the vibrations while the item is in use.

This was a great design for a rabbit, but the motor is just too weak to do any good other than frustrate this wench.

Unless you like very weak motors, I suggest you find something else.

Use

I lusted after this toy for weeks and debated time after time about buying it. Finally, I received one as a gift and I waited anxiously for the package to arrive. At times, I almost giggled with excitement and anticipation because I knew that based upon my preferences, I was getting the perfect toy for my needs. Finally---a rabbit that I could use internally for my G-spot and externally for my clitoris at the same time!

I knew the bullet for the clitoris would be awesome because I use bullets all the time, and they feel so good. I even love my Butterfly Kiss, which is the closest thing I have to a rabbit, and the feeling of stimulation on the clitoris at the same time as G-spot stimulation is just breathtaking.

With a total length of 9.75", of which 5" is insertable, I knew this might be a bit short for me, but still in the range of toys that I like. I could hardly wait to experience the 1 5/8" diameter because it would be the perfect girth. The curve of the head would even be great for hitting my G-spot.

Oh yeah, it was going to be anchors away as my hubby and I set sail with all hands on deck, so to speak.

Finally, the package arrived and I anxiously put batteries in the toy and awaited the arrival of my husband so we could set off on adventure.

Little did I realize that we were going to be heading into the perfect storm.

Material / Texture

The insertable portion of the toy is made of TPE while the base is soft matte plastic. The toy has a lot of textured patterns on the shaft, including skulls, chains and waves. I could not feel the textured designs when using the toy internally though.

To me, the TPE feels sticky when I hold it in my hand, especially on the smooth portion of the shaft where the beads are. I called the toy bumpy because of its textured designs on the shaft.

The clitorial stimulator looks much like a squid and is also made of TPE. Its arms and legs wiggle to stimulate the clitoris while the rabbit is running.

The top of the handle has two rows of red beads inset into the plastic.

Design / Shape / Size

When the package arrived and I took the toy out of the box and played with it, I loved the design. For one thing, it has a curved bulbous head at the top of the shaft. The shaft itself is made up of three portions---the top part is about 2.5 inches, has the curved head, and is textured. The second portion of the shaft is 1.5 inches and has the rows of beads that move when you turn the vibrator on. The bottom portion is approximately 2.5 inches and it is textured.

I tried pushing on the beads while the vibrator was running to see if it would stop the vibrations. Perhaps it was the way that I was playing with it---but when I pushed on the beaded portion, it seemed to make the clitoral stimulator go crazy and vibrate even faster and harder.

While this could be used by a single person, I recommend this for partner play because I find the controls awkward to use. The center button controls the power and whether the unit is on or off. There are two semi-circle buttons which surround this.

The left semi-circle button controls the clitoral stimulator and it has seven settings. You must cycle through all the settings to get back to the beginning. The first three settings are steady vibrations which get stronger and faster and the rest of the settings are different pulses. Only one of the settings was noticeable to me, otherwise, I had a hard time even feeling the clitoral stimulator.

The right semi-circle button controls the five settings of the rotating shaft. The first three settings are steady and increase in speed and strength. The final two settings give you different pulses.

When using this toy, there is no way to run only the clitoral stimulator or only the shaft. Both must run at the same time, although you can individualize the speed and setting for each one.

Functions / Performance / Controls

I would love to share with you about the vibrations and how they made me feel. However, whenever we used this toy, I found myself continually asking my husband if it was on yet or if he had it to full speed. I could never feel the vibrations internally or on my clitoris. I could sort of tell it was moving if I laid perfectly still and listened for the vibrations. However, I couldn't feel them. I would try to tighten up my muscles and I still couldn't feel them. With the clitoral stimulator, I could only feel the toy on one speed.

When I hold the toy in my hand and turn it on, I can tell you that the vibrations can be felt in the top two portions of the shaft. When I press on the beads on any setting other than the lowest setting, the toy continues to vibrate although it does slow down some.

The clitoral stimulator works well too when the toy is in my hand. I love watching those little arms/legs flutter in the breeze.

On the lower speeds, we don't find the toy to be very noisy. When the toy was inside me, we could not even hear it on the loudest speeds but if it was not inserted, we could hear the toy a bit.

The toy did great as far as being splashproof. However, it is not recommended for immersion in water.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is made of TPE which is porous, but not as porous as jelly. It is phthalate free, latex free and hypo-allergenic. If you are sharing this toy with another person, it is recommended that you use a condom.

The best way to wash this toy is with soap and water or with a toy cleaner. Because of the intricate design that is part of the shaft, I would make sure to clean it thoroughly, perhaps by using a soft toothbrush. This is why I'm saying the toy is hard to clean.

You can't really sanitize this toy due to the motor, etc. so boiling it or putting it through the dishwasher is not a good option. You could use a 10% bleach solution to wipe down the toy with.

You can use both silicone-based lubes and water-based lubes with this toy.

Since this toy comes with a storage bag, I would toss the packaging and just store the toy in the toy bag.

Packaging

The packaging is rather large and not at all discreet. The toy is in a plastic box which is attached to a cardboard backing. There are pictures on the back of other toys from the Pirates line.

Fortunately, this toy comes with a cute black toy bag to store it in---so toss the box and just store the toy in the bag.

Personal comments

I really wanted to like this toy and I kept trying to find things about it that I might like. I thought it was a cute concept and a neat idea. I loved the wide girth and the curved head. There was so much about this toy to like.

But when you buy a vibrator, you expect to feel it vibrate. You don't go to play with it and wonder if it is on or if the batteries are dead or if you hit the wrong button.

This toy wound up frustrating both my husband and myself. I even tried to use it against his body but the vibrations still felt weak.

My husband is still a big kid at heart and loves to destroy things. I'm thinking about letting him cut into this and take it apart and see if we can at least salvage the bullet from the clitoral stimulator so we can get some use out of this toy.

Once he's done that---this toy will get what it finally deserves---a burial at sea.

I'm so sorry matey. I wanted to like you---I really did. For weeks I anticipated getting you. But alas, your vibrations just weren't hearty enough for this wench.

I wish I could have felt it - I mean - I did feel it a tiny bit if I laid still and concentrated on it. But the vibrations were just so weak. I don't know if I got a defective model or what - it seemed to work great in my hand.

I really was upset and disappointed with this item.

Oh this was such a pleasure to read and extremely well written! I love the last part. That was so cute. However, I hate that it was such a let down. For that price, I'd expect stronger vibes at least! It is unique and nice looking. I'm sorry you didn't have a better experience with it Hopefully there will be somethign similar just with better functions!

Thank you so much Kendra. I so wanted to like this - I really really did. I mean - for week I kept looking at it and going, "maybe in my next order" or "maybe next payday".

My husband took him apart and it is fascinating. I would take pictures and post them but I'm not sure if it would somehow be giving away their design secrets. Basically though, there is no motor at the tip of the rabbit - there are the beads and a piece of wire going up into the tip and a small wire cap thing that goes on top of the wire that is maybe 1/8" in diameter and rotates. But the motor part is way down in the bottom part of the shaft and it is encased in plastic so you don't feel it at all. The bullet is pretty tiny and I don't think there is any way we'll be able to rescue it and use it as a bullet (something we did with Doc Johnson's Lucid Dreams #54).

Seeing this though - I can understand why the vibrations were so weak. And my husband is still joking about using the TPE part of this as a condom or putting another vibe in it and surprising me since it had decent girth.

      Well, that can happen with any product. If you photograph a bowl under fluorescent lights in a lightbox, it's going to look very different from how it looks in your kitchen with an incandescent.

      I've never had one that came back looking less attractive, but I've had things that were totally different colours when I got them than the photos showed. :^)

      But my point is that yes, if you put the toy in the right conditions it will look however it does in the picture, and I've never gotten a toy that was *radically* different.
    • When you set up a small photography studio (including proper lighting and whatnot), it tends to place the product in a positive light. Same as it would do with humans.

    • I haven't tried this one in particular, but I'm a big fan of rabbits. I personally wouldn't choose one with less than a "vroom" of 4 because I like as much power as I can get. It also looks like it could be a pain to clean, but I have a few of those. You just have to take a little extra time.
    • My rule of thumb is 4 AAs - this one has 4 AAAs. That means a peak voltage loss of 20% - I would expect it would be under-powered
