We, but maybe not Vibe
Get this if you're just starting out with sex toys and don't need strong vibrations or if your counterpart has vibrator envy of any type. If you're more of a sex toy pro or need a lot of rumble, you can probably pass. Either way, watch that you use enough lube with this as dry vibrations for extended periods can cause injury.Published: September 8, 2011
Pros:
Smart design, sexy look, great concept
Cons:
Lacking in power, potential for injury if not lubricated
When I first saw this toy, I knew I just had to have it. It seemed like it would be the perfect couple's toy.
When I got it, I was impressed by the look and feel of the toy. It's small and discreet and the look is curvy and kind of sexy. The packaging was nice and worthy of a toy that you dropped a lot of money on. Charging it and getting it set up was a little confusing at first, but after figuring out where the charge port was, I've had no problems.
The first time I used this I did something silly. I didn't use enough lube. Basically what happened is that we used it during sex and the upper part (that rests on your clit) vibrated the whole time with no lubrication. The result? A fun trip to the doctor because I had brush burn on my vagina. How embarrassing. I tell you this so that you won't be goofy like me and fail to lubricate BOTH sides of this when using this.
After that horrific experience, I was tempted to throw this away and call it a bust because I was terrified to use it again. But, in the name of always trying something at least a few times before calling it quits, I decided to give it another go.
Thing is, the We Vibe is pretty weak. The vibrations, while quiet, are sub-par. Basically if I used this by itself with no other toy or my husband involved, I would not be able to get there. During intercourse it spiced things up a little bit, but doesn't serve its intended purpose. I get basically no clitoral stimulation from it and the internal vibrations don't feel spectacular and certainly don't seem to help hit my G spot any better.
It's not a total fail. We still do use it sometimes. I guess my problem is that with the right vibrations, this could be the most amazing toy out there. A problem we run into often is that when you're in the moment it's not the easiest thing to manage having sex, orgasming, and holding a vibrator in just the right spot. I was hoping this would make clitoral stimulation during sex a hands free affair. A bit more oomph and this toy would have exceeded my expectations. It sadly missed the mark a little bit.
Most of the time when we use this now, I end up getting frustrated by it and taking it out and using one of my stronger vibrators and just dealing with the issues that come with maneuvering a few different things at once. I'm a pretty awful multi-tasker.
I would recommend this to couples who are just starting out with sex toys especially if the girl doesn't need a ton of vibration. I can see how this would work for someone who needs less stimulation than what I do. The design is nice and the concept it very smart. I also think this is a nice transition into bringing toys in the bedroom because it doesn't have that intimidation factor that some stronger or larger vibes might have.
The We Vibe is super easy to clean and I find it doesn't even get all that messy, which I guess has something to do with where it positions itself.
Final word: great for beginners. Nice addition, but not a necessity for seasoned pros. Make sure to lubricate both ends! If they come out with a We Vibe III that's a lot stronger, I'm sold.

We decided on this toy because the store employee allowed us to see one out of the box and hold it and see what it does. by going to the store I got a better view of other things here that I was interested in.

I agree - head to your local toy store. That's how I decided to buy mine. Feel it, get a first-hand idea of the size, flexibility, etc. Then, if you like it, come back to Eden and buy it. If your local toy store is anything like the ones around here, they don't give half the number of discounts as Eden Fantasys. :)

Couples Use
-
OK, it seems like quite a few people have had trouble using this during couple play, myself included. Has anyone got any useful tips? The main problem is that once it's in and my BF is penetrating, the part that rests on the clitoris just moves around too much and I can't seem to orgasm because of it. Any similar problems and solutions?

We-Vibe II - Has it worked for you?
-
A simple yes or no works for me. Please feel free to get in depth on why or why not it didn't work well. I'm thinking of this as a gift for my husband on his belated birthday.
Also, has this caused discomfort to anyone's penis? -
It works better for me as a solo toy. My husband is on the smaller side of average and he was able to fit inside of me with this comfortably, but I prefer smaller girthed things so this plus him was a little too much for me. I haven't revisited it in a while though.

Just bought it. I'll let you know when we try it out. ~

Anyone else have trouble with it staying in place on the clitoris during use?

We had to change positions several times before we found a spot that worked for us both.Is it bad to say I'm glad I'm not the only one? I think it's because the penis has a tendency to slide beside it rather than under it which makes it move around more. Still experimenting with it.

I'm trying to find my next toy, I bought the fun factory delight, but I was wondering how this one worked for you
-
My girlfriend didn't like it at all. Just was not shaped for her anatomy, which sounds like a fairly common problem if you read the reviews. We need to give it another shot, but I just ordered this to try in a similar fashion: link
and I'm hoping it will work better. My girlfriend has the g-ki as well and it might work but we haven't tried it yet either. -
reviews does not say that, there are a lot and just some users seems to think that

We-vibe... alternate uses
-
tacomanAnyone have ideas for alternate uses of the We-Vibe 2? Looks too big for insertion for the wife, but I want to get it anyhow. -

It is really quite easy to insert. The motors are smaller than a penis, and it is really thin where the two motors connect.

Thank you for viewing We-vibe II – g-spot and clitoral vibrator review page!

I'm so sorry that you were injured from this toy. You're brave for trying it again. The We Vibe seems to be a very hit-or-miss toy. Thanks for sharing your experiences with it!
Thanks for the review. Where were the vibrations mainly located? Material? Size? Was it flexible at all?
The vibrations come from the bigger arm (the one with the on/off switch). The second arm vibrates what comes through on the bigger arm. It's made of silicone, but not the velvety silicone. It's more of a sleek, shiny silicone. The material is a little tacky and seems to draw a bit of dirt to it. Not as bad as jelly toys do but more so than my softer, velvety silicone toys. Each arm is three inches in length. It is very flexible. I can make it almost straight without any issue and it goes right back to its original shape.
Good review
Thanks!
Thanks for the review.
You're welcome.
Dagnabit. I keep seeing reviews of this and hoping that the product will have magically improved somehow. I finally figured out, reading your review, that I'm even more annoyed about this toy because it SEEMS like it'd be so amazing given the concept, design, etc. Looking at it gives me high hopes. I guess I'm holding out for the We-Vibe III.a.i, or whenever they come up with something better that's not also more expensive. Sigh.
I agree! It should be great. Alas, it is not.
There is a We Vibe III! There are a few reviews out on it. It has a remote and a little stronger motor. I'm not buying it because the reviews say it's not that much stronger.
Thanks for the "Dry-Rub" warning! I don't think this is the toy for me!
LOL I will never forgive this toy for that. I still complain about it and I got this when it very first came out. X.x
thanks
Thanks for review.
Thank you!
