The We-Vibe from Standard Innovation Corporation is one of those toys that people either love or hate. I am totally in love with mine.

The We-Vibe is a clitoral/g-spot stimulator. The smaller paddle is inserted and presses against the g-spot, while the larger paddle fits against the clitoris. Depending on your anatomy, this may not fit correctly, but I found that it nestled in place just fine.

This is intended as a hands-free vibrator to be used in conjunction with another toy (or penis) inserted in the vagina.

The We-Vibe is made of silicone, so it’s odorless, phthalate-free and non-porous. It’s smooth to the touch, with a slightly sticky feel.

Since the We-Vibe is motorized, it can’t be sterilized, but should be washed with soap and water before and after use. It is water resistant, but shouldn’t be used in the shower or bath. If necessary, water-based lubricants are safe to use with the We-Vibe.

The We-Vibe is shaped like a U, and is about 7” long from end to end. There are two paddles, one on each end. Each paddle is about 3” long and about 1” wide. The g-spot paddle has ridges to press against the g-spot, and is fairly thin. The clitoral paddle is wider and thicker, with less pronounced ridges.

The We-Vibe has a seam that goes around it’s entirety, although it’s not noticeable when in use. It’s very flexible, although it shouldn’t be bent or twisted excessively to avoid damage to the motors.

The We-Vibe is very easy to use. It’s on/off switch is located on the clitoral paddle nose, by 2 dimples on each side of the switch. Pressing with your finger left (while facing the nose) on the dimple turns the We on high, and pressing right turns it on low. When the switch is in the center, the We-Vibe is off.

Each paddle vibrates with it’s own motor when the We-Vibe is turned on. The low vibration is too low for me, but the high is a pleasant, low sensation. The We-Vibe is easy to insert and position, at least for me.

Both the high and low vibrations were very quiet.

Under the two dimples is another dimple where the charger is inserted. The jack is just pressed in through the silicone. The We-Vibe should be charged for 24 hours before its first use. It can’t be overcharged, so you can leave it plugged in and charging all the time.

The instructions recommend never completely exhausting the batteries, and plugging the We-Vibe in to recharge it before the batteries slow noticeably. That seems kind of vague, but I’ve found that after a 30-40 minute use the vibrations haven’t slowed so I notice at all.

The We-Vibe comes packaged in a large white box, with the vibe visible in the center window. It’s a lovely purple color. It was much smaller than I expected, even though I read the product dimensions. The box contains the We-Vibe, storage case, instruction flier, and power cord.

The storage case is a snap case like a hard glasses case, and is black with deep purple swirls and design. The inside of the case is tan. This is a great storage idea, and the case is completely discreet if the power cord is draped down behind the furniture. The We-Vibe can be plugged in and charged with the case lid shut, which works great.

I really wanted this for it’s hands-free aspect. I like the idea of strap-on vibrators, but I can never figure out the straps. The We-Vibe inserted easily and nestled against my clit and vaginal wall like it was molded to me.

It stayed in place by itself, which left me aroused when we put it in before my husband and I started to play. It didn't get me off fast at all, but just kept heightening my arousal. It stayed put when we added a vibrator later on, even when we vigorously thrust with the vibrator. My husband could feel the vibrations on his penis during intercourse, and he enjoyed the sensations.

I found that when using a vibrator with the We-Vibe, the extra vibrations transmitted through it and made the internal sensations that much more intense. In a way, it turned an ordinary vibrator into a g-spot stimulator. Even though having a g-spot orgasm is as elusive to me as finding the Holy Grail, the stimulation is great.
