The we-vibe 3 is a g-spot vibrator that is worn during sex. There are vibrating motors in both ends that will really send you into orbit when something is inserted along with the we-vibe (a penis, dildo, etc).

There is a lot of information here so be warned. I wanted to be thorough for my first buy-out assignment and this product has a lot of features to point out.

Made out of 100% safe, medical-grade silicone, the we-vibe is also waterproof. The silicone does have some grab to it so I recommend using a water-based lubricant. Avoid using a silicone-based lubricant, as it may not play nice with your we-vibe. The vibe is mostly smooth (except for the slight grab of the silicone). There is a ribbed portion on the inside of each half (one that goes over the clitoris and one that is made to grab inside the vagina), however, neither of these can be felt much during use.

There is a slight odor to the silicone, especially after opening the travel case. The odor doesn't really bother my wife or I and was not noticed except when I first opened the case. During use you would never know there was an odor and it may be something that goes away over time.

The storage/travel case is made out of plastic as well as the remote control, except for a raised ridge that loops around the top of the remote to indicate where the button is located.

The we-vibe is shaped like a “c” and measures approximately 7.5-inches from tip to tip and about 3-inches insertable length on either end. The smaller end has a diameter of about 1-inch at the widest part and about 1.25-inches in diameter on the bigger end.

This toy, I would guess, is probably going to hit most g-spots out there. The vibrations do travel well throughout the toy, so even if it isn’t spot on you should still get pleasure out of this toy. Of course, you know your body best (hopefully).

The We-Vibe 3 claims to have 40% more power. I’ll have to take their word for it because I don’t own either of the first two variations. The usual complaint with We-Vibes is that they should be stronger and I would have to agree, but that shouldn’t turn you away from this toy. It’s definitely not going to get you off by itself, but it gets the job done when you use it the way it was intended.

During penetration, the penetrating object pushes the we-vibe up into the g-spot. Not only does this make the vibrations a little stronger, but it also makes the penetrating object feel bigger. It could still be a little stronger for my wife’s liking (she loves strong vibrations), but it’s not so weak that we will stop using it. You will probably want a dab of lube since a penis or some other object will be sliding directly against the silicone.

The toy doesn’t stay in place the greatest by itself, which is actually a good thing. This is due to the fact that there has to be enough room to fit a penis or another object inside with the vibe. During penetrative sex the vibe stays in place surprisingly well. We had no issues with the toy moving off of my wife’s clit or g-spot. That could change depending on the girth of the penetrating object, but I’m guessing it’s not much of an issue as long as something is inserted.

The controls are simple. There is a small button (completely covered by the silicone so the toy stays 100% waterproof) on the biggest end that you push to turn the toy on. Push the button to cycle through the different vibration patterns or push the button on the controller (there’s only one button) to change the pattern. Hold the button on the toy down for 2 seconds and the toy turns off. There are 6 different vibration modes and I’ve included the picture from the company’s website to describe each vibration pattern.



Since it is completely encased in silicone and totally waterproof, the we-vibe is obviously rechargeable. Place it in the storage/travel case (it only fits one way) and plug the case in. There is a small light on the bottom-front of the case that turns yellow when charging.



The We-vibe 3 will give you up to 2 hours of playtime on a single charge. It should be noted, however, that you will not be playing as soon as you get the toy. The initial charge takes 18 hours before your first time playing with the vibe. While that can be a slight disappointment, you definitely want to follow the charge instructions so this toy will last for a long time. The vibe and remote will last for years according to the company and hundreds of charges. The remote battery cannot be replaced and does not get charged, but it will last for many years according to the company. The We-vibe cannot be overcharged, so you can actually just leave the case plugged in all the time unless you won’t be using it for a long, long time (and that’s just crazy).

Silicone is super easy to take care of. It’s waterproof and can be cleaned with soap and water, a toy cleaning solution, or disinfecting wipes. Do disinfect this toy thoroughly before sharing with a partner. I don’t recommend throwing it in the dishwasher or boiling it just because you don’t want to risk ruining the motors inside the toy. After all, that would make the toy pretty useless if it stopped vibrating.

This toy is somewhat of a lint magnet. The toy even attracted lint while it was stored in the case, but with this toy that’s not really a problem. It’s waterproof, so you can (and should) just rinse it off before use and clean it again afterwards. Pretty simple.

This We-Vibe is packaged beautifully. Although it’s not discreet by any stretch of the imagination, it is very informative and attractive. They give you info on the toy around the outside of the box. Inside you’ll find another case that’s made of plastic and more elegant looking. This is actually the storage case and charging base for your we-vibe and remote control. Inside there is also a booklet (you can see the whole booklet on their website) that provides lots of info, everything from how to use the toy to 33 different positions to try of varying difficulty. The company definitely thought about what a customer should get when they purchase a sex toy in this price range.

The We-Vibe is awesome! Having never owned any of the previous models, I didn’t know what to expect or if the price was worth it. It is.

The We-Vibe 3 is not meant to do the job by itself. It’s meant to be a great addition to the penetrative sex you’re already having and it comes through on that purpose. We love that we can both get pleasure from it at the same time and we can enjoy it in the shower, out of the shower, and with pretty much any position you can imagine. This rechargeable g-spot vibe is supposed to last many years and I think it will get a lot of use over those years in our household. If you don’t own a We-Vibe and have thought about getting one, do it. You wont regret it.

Because it’s silicone and 100% waterproof, the toy should work great for anal play as well. I’m not sure you could use it anally while having anal sex, but you could still have penetrative vaginal sex while one end is inserted anally. We did not get the chance to try the vibe out this way, but I plan to do so and will include the results when I write the follow up review.
