I have heard lots of good things about the
We-Vibe by Standard Innovation Corporation. I was really excited about several points that this toy has to offer. It provides clitoral and G-spot stimulation at the same time, but better yet, is meant to be worn during intercourse! Some other amazing features of this include being made of silicone, its waterproof, and it is rechargeable.
There was no scent to this toy as it is 100% silicone, and there is no taste (just in case you were curious). The toy comes with an AC adapter so it can be plugged in, and it also comes with its own little case. The case looks exactly like a hard glasses case, and while lovely, isn’t large enough to keep both the toy and the cord inside of it. It felt smooth and the slightest bit tacky as some silicone does. I read the simple instructions and it says to charge it for 24 hours before first use. I was a little disappointed at this because I wanted to try it out as soon as my husband got home from work, but alas, I was going to have to wait.
Our first test run with the pretty little We-Vibe was not a success, and not being one to give up easily, I convinced him to give it a try a couple days later. We tried more positions this second time, and still met no luck. The toy just kept turning to the side and causing pain to my husband’s penis. I must note that the little ridges on the toy did help it to stay inside me, and they do feel nice if I just rub the toy a little while wearing it. I did not get the chance to try this toy in the water, but will in a couple weeks.
This toy is simply not strong enough to provide me with a good solo experience. The best use I have found for my expensive little We-Vibe is to wear it underneath my clothes while I do house work. It would need to be a little quieter for me to wear out in public though. I can still hear it through my clothes unless I am standing next to the running clothes washer.
Clean up is very easy. Because this toy is water proof you can wash it with soap and water in the sink or with toy cleaner. I have not tried it, but being silicone you can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution to sterilize. This really isn’t needed though unless you plan on sharing the toy.
I was over all very impressed with the design and quality of the toy. It just simply was not the right fit for us. I give this a 4 star rating because I believe it is a wonderful toy that would work very well for a lot of people. I will continue to use this toy for light stimulation before sex, and just for fun to liven up my menial tasks around the house. I am not sure if I will be able to convince my husband to give this toy another try. If I do find out exactly why it won’t stay in place for us, I will be sure to post a follow up review.
When the time finally came to test out this toy, I found it easy to insert. I used a little drop of water based lube (no silicone lube because this is a silicone toy) and it slid in easily. Now I was a little perplexed as to why it didn’t seem to fit my body very well. The curved part of the toy, between the two vibrating parts, seemed like it was too sharp of a curve for me. A wider U shape would have worked better. I figured it was no big deal and we moved on. My husband lubed up his penis quite well and tried to insert it into my vagina. The fit was tight enough that it was difficult for him to get inside of me. Once in however it was comfortable for both of us. I switched the vibrator onto low and knew instantly that it wouldn’t be enough for me to orgasm. I switched it onto high, and while I knew it still wasn’t intense enough for me to orgasm from, it felt good.
I was getting into enjoying the increased pressure on my G-spot and the gentle vibrations, when the whole unit turned! It flipped from being on my clit to pointing towards my hip bone. My husband also exclaimed that it was digging into the side of his penis. We straightened it, and got back to business. It didn’t take very many thrusts until his penis shoved it over to the side again. Obviously we weren’t having any luck in a more intimate missionary position, so we decided to try doggy style. My husband’s penis curves toward his belly button, so I figured this may be putting too much strain on the toy and pushing it out of his way. In doggy style his penis would be curved away from the We-Vibe which should eliminate this. Sadly though, it still kept twisting to the side. It didn’t take long before my husband had had enough and asked me to remove it.

The vibrations are probably a tiny bit stronger than the bullet that came with the tickling tongue, but only a tiny bit. All of my other bullets are more powerful than this toy though, even ones powered by watch batteries. The bullet that comes with the tickling tongue ring is particularly weak. Hopefully that helped some.
I'm trying to get a feel for the vibration level of this toy. How does the vibration of this compare to the tickling tongue ring bullet? That's the only toy I know we both own. :) I keep going back and forth. It's such an amazing concept, but it's awfully pricey.

Every attemp with this toy has failed my husband and I,we had the exact issues as Bulma. Very dissapointing considering the price. Great review.
For us, it stayed put, but was also tough during first insertion. My guy is fairly well-endowed so it was a snug fit, and the toy moved out of me just a but with every outpull.....but I didn't experience the side-turning thing! Glad to know I'm not the only one disappointed with the vibes.
It is very flexible, but that might actually be part of the problem. Instead of sitting were it should and remaining in a U shape it tends to be forced more into an L shape which doesn't help it stay in place for me very well. I think it probably would adjust well to different bodies, just not mine. I would require the toy to have a wider U shape than it does. Great toy, just didn't work for my husband and I very well.
The thin connection part seems like it'd be flexible enough to bend to whatever body shape the wearer has... is that true?

Thanks for being honest! This toy doesn't work as an intercourse toy for me either. It doesn't work for me @ all. Vibrations are way too weak for solo and it constantly moves during sex.Very dissapointing!!!
Sleeping Dreamer- You are definitely more talented at arranging cords than I am. I finally just gave up trying to get them to both fit. lol Good to know that it is possible though!
Dame Demi- It is such a great design, that I was a little surprised when it wouldn't stay put for us. I am thinking that the rather aggressive curve in my husband's penis has something to do with it. I think it does slip to the side worse when in missionary position. I do plan to keep trying whenever I can convince him to let me use it. Hopefully we can get it figured out :)
Jimbo Jones- Yeah it's been frustrating, but I think more so for my husband than for me. When it flips to the side it putts pressure on the side of his penis, and he complains that it becomes painful. Hopefully we can get it work right.
Alpine Subdreams- I hope so too. I may have to wait until he is really tired and passed out then just ambush him. I've asked him a couple times and it's been "maybe another time" so far. At least it isn't a flat out "NO!"

Not enough vibration to orgasm from, moves to the side during penetrative sex. I'm sure you will find a way to make this worthwhile to you, but it sounds pretty frustrating so far. Good luck and thanks for another great review!

I guess, as you said, it may be a matter of personal fit, since it stayed in place for me surprisingly well in several positions. But yes, ouch, your experience definitely does not seem like a pleasant one, but glad you can at least get some pleasure out of this around the house!
You have to rearrange the toy and power adapter a few times until you get it right but they WILL both fit in there. So heads up, it is possible! :)
