Weighted pelvic exerciser and then some.

Personally, I would not buy this item for myself after my experience with it. There are other products that do in fact work the pelvic floor muscles. Again, though this may work great for someone who has to have a set time and place to work out the PC muscles, for me this just isn't the case. Because of that, I'm of the opinion that it simply is too overpriced for a simple non-vibrating massager.

Use

The Veronica is an exerciser that has three weighted segments, one angled tip, and one rounded tip. This exerciser is very smooth and body-friendly. The Veronica can also be used as a nicely weighted massager, either alone or with your lover.

There were no instructions in my package. After doing some reading on the internet, there appears to be some conflicting information regarding its use. So I did what any curious person would; I opened it up and started playing.

I ended up standing in my bathroom, inserting the Veronica vaginally while standing. One page said insert the rounded tip, another said insert the angled tip. It appeared to me that the weights were relatively similar so either end was up for grabs.

Having used other products for Kegel exercises, this one had me at a loss for a moment. Again, there are no instructions to the consumer to ensure its proper use, though there are disclaimers saying basically it's for entertainment purposes. Regardless, I continued my quest...

I have pretty thick thighs, so just standing there wasn't doing much, as I could easily combat gravity with my thighs and hold the Veronica in place. So I upped the challenge and incorporated a high squat. This ensured that my PC muscles were doing the work to keep the Veronica in place, and how fabulous of a thigh work out is that?

So while gravity and the Veronica can and may improve your pelvic floor muscles after consistent use, there are better products for this purpose; ones you can move about with rather than being sequestered to the bathroom or bedroom.

As a nice massager, the Veronica is a fun way to play. It's very hard; I believe it's made of resin, but there is some uncertainty to that as well. So deep thrusting motions might cause some internal bruising. Again, massage is the key word. The Veronica can be used solo or with a lover.

Material / Texture

Out of the package there was no noticeable odor and in my book that is always a plus. It's pretty, nicely weighted, smooth, and very rigid.

Being that the Veronica is fairly slim, it's a good beginner tool. Again, it would be better if there were some instructions rather than the assumption that it's self explanatory. As a massager or dildo, yes, it is pretty easy to get the concept; but when dealing with and promoting pelvic floor exercise and tools to assist with that, some instruction on how to properly use it would have been handy.

The box says it's made of resin. There is no ranking of resin and from what I've seen there is some conflicting information as to whether it's resin or not. Regardless of material, I always use a condom on anything that goes inside me. I'm a bit neurotic about this. So while I use a condom on my toys, I also use a mild anti-bacterial toy wash before and after. I'm not entirely certain how resin will hold up over time, as there is little information regarding exactly what the resin is made of, how to care for it, etc., (at least that I've found). The box, however, says body-safe, unscented and phthalate-free.

Design / Shape / Size

The design is nice, and the weighted segments are a nice addition. It's pretty average, slim and pretty. While size-wise it's great for travel, it's pretty obvious that it is a sexual aid.

It's 7 inches from tip to tip and weighs in at about 6 ounces. So again, travel size, yes. Travel inconspicuous, not so much.

Performance

The best aspect of the Veronica, in my opinion is the dual purpose use as a massager or dildo as well. While technically it may or may not be beneficial as a pelvic exerciser, I am not one who has enough time to focus solely on this exercise for 10 minutes or more, twice a day, for any period of time.

Care and Maintenance

There are no real instruction on care for the Veronica either. Because it may or may not be made of resin, I simply used a spray-on anti-bacterial toy cleaner before and after, as well as a condom during play time. This way I can use the lube of my choice.

Storage is like with any other toy. I always use toy sleeves and store in my toy box.

Follow-up commentary
Life is simply too short for me to spend time messing around with Kegel exercisers that don't give me the flexibility to move about my daily routine. There are so many products out there that are dual-purpose, easy to use, and can be used while walking, dancing, working, etc.

For a simple massager, this is great and I would still be able to like it IF it were advertised and promoted specifically as a weighted massager with possible Kegel benefits.

Great review! I love how you managed to get a really good workout. That was really creative! This seems fun as a dildo at least, but I'm too lazy for it as an exerciser. Lol. I stick with the balls.
