I was expecting a bit more from the Ashton's Sweet Dreams Vibrator as I have been quite impressed with the Doc Johnsons brand in the past. I love shapely G-spot vibrators, and was looking forward to those sweet, rumbling G-spot orgasms from this toy. Sadly, the bulbous nature of this toy paired with its large girth proved to be a bit uncomfortable for me, a double negative along with its hard to clean jelly material.

However, if you are a fan of lots of girth, easy control, and big, bulbous vibes that give you a variety of interesting sensations (with lots of lubricant...) Ashton's Sweet Dreams could be your go to! Although many jelly toys deteriorate with non-water based lubricant, Ashton's Sweet Dreams has been pretty resistant to deterioration throughout many uses in the bathtub and the occasional encounter with baby oil. I have only used water based lube with this toy, but I often have baby oil in the water from applying it after shaving, and Sweet Dreams has held up decently.

The waterproof feature gives this toy a leg up. I can really enjoy the features of this toy if I am incredibly lubed up, but otherwise the girth is simply too much for me. The vibrations also lack luster, although the toy is incredibly quiet for its size. Overall, it's a bit big and bulky for my preference, and the jelly feature makes cleaning and storing more difficult as it gets dirty super easy. For me, this toy is reserved for the bathtub, and even there it is not my first choice.

I do not like to use it with my man as this toy needs to be operated at a very specific angle for me to find it comfortable. Again, I emphasize, if you like girth and curves to your toy, you met your dream come true! But if you prefer power and a more flexible toy, keep on looking.

Ashton's Sweet Dreams is made of a jelly material, a two on the Eden safety scale. If you have pets and plan on laying this down on your bed for a toy switch up, or drop it on accident, be prepared to have it covered in pet hair and impossible to clean easily. The material is smooth, and slicks up nicely enough to use for clitoral stimulation. However, it came out of the package stinking of a strange plasticy smell, one that has not fully worn off after several bath time uses. The bulbous nature of the toy and the G-spot curve can add sensation for a user ready to accommodate the girth of this vibe. There is little give to this toy, and the make is fairly firm. With its wider girth, be prepared to add a lot of lubricant for comfort of insertion. The stiffness of it already makes it difficult to insert comfortably in my opinion

Ashton's Sweet Dreams has a bulbous design, with 6" of insertable length, and 1.5” diameter, Ashton's Sweet Dreams is perfect for a girl who likes texture, length, and width. The highlight feature of this toy is the turn knob vibration control which is located on the side of the toy, instead of on the bottom or something. For me, this gave this toy a bit of an edge. Although it is still easy to accidentally bump the spin dial during play, it was less common for me to bump it than with toys that have spin dials on the bottom. I also love the little textured points on the dial base, because if I was about to bump the dial, I felt it before I hit it.

For me, the size of the toy, or perhaps the contoured design was a bit uncomfortable for me without a whole lot of lubrication. The big size made it difficult to store. But for those of you who like girth, length, and a bumpy ride, Ashton is for you. If you don't know what you like, or big size intimidates you, look elsewhere!

The vibrations of Ashton's Sweet Dreams are lack luster for the size of the toy. It also loses some power when pushed up against your skin. It’s a real disappointment on those days where you don't start out ready to go. But, it was kind of expected that two double A batteries would fail to produce the tantalizing sensations I was searching for. I do love the waterproof feature and the textured spin dial, but for clitoral stimulation, this toy lacks power. I have never even bothered to use the lower level vibrations, as they just aren't enough. Fortunately, the toy isn't too buzzy, so it can be discrete in the noise category. After just one use though, the vibrations dulled even more with the battery power being lower. Perhaps that's because this toy just didn't do it for me and it took such a long session to finish off the way I wanted.

I suggest this toy in the water, as jelly is difficult to clean and difficult to store. It will attract all pet hair and people hair and other messes. You can't boil it for cleaning; it needs to be cleaned with soap (but not strong soap) and water. I suggest storing it separately in a plastic bag to keep it clean. Jelly is quite low on the Eden safety scale. You cannot share or sterilize the material. However, water and silicone lubes can be used on jelly toys. Store your Ashton in a cool, dark place to keep it lasting longer.

Coming in plastic packaging, there will be no storage included with purchase. Two double A batteries will also be necessary to purchase. I suggest purchasing extra. The packing pictures a blonde girl, but for the most part, the packaging lacks luster.

The Ashton has its pros, like its cool side textured side-dial control and waterproof feature. But, you need to consider what you like before considering purchasing the Ashton. Do you like a lot of texture and a good amount of girth? Are you okay with weaker vibrations? Do you have a place to store a jelly toy? Ask yourself all of these questions before spending your money. There could be something better out there for your money!
