Smartballs - exerciser for vaginal muscles by Fun Factory - review by Shayne

The Smart Balls by Fun Factory basically only have one purpose - to exercise the vaginal muscles. The balls are inserted one at a time with a little help from some lubricant since they're kinda big which I realized when I first tried them out. I can usually take somewhat big toys, but at first I had a hard time inserting these. Don't try to use these anally, it even says in the instructions that there's a chance they'll get lost.

The smart balls are made out of elastomed coated with silicone with a coated string. The material is similar to silicone and non-porous- the balls are hard and rubbery to the touch, with a bendy center part in between the balls. There are 'grooves' with a contrasting color on the balls, but I don't think they really contribute to anything other than just design.

I have the raspberry/pistachio ones, and I love the color! I'm a fan of pink and green anyway, and the design of the balls is sleek and modern. Actually, they kinda look like two cat toys fused together. Anyway, the shape is fine for me, the only thing I really don't like about the design is that the bendy connector part is so long. I have a hard time keeping the bottom ball in, and I find it uncomfortable sitting if I haven't pushed the bottom one in, but I suspect that this is probably something that I'll adjust to as the muscles get stronger.

Aside from what I wrote above, the sensations don't really arouse me, but the "jingling" I can feel makes me aware that I'm working those muscles. However, I only notice the jingles when I walk a certain way. One major and unintended plus is that I definitely stand up straighter because when I do, I can feel them jingle. This is really nice because I'm kinda slouchy normally, and now my posture is a bit- not a lot- better!

Basically I just clean this with a toy cleaner under some warm water. It's pretty easy to take care of, other than cleaning out the ridge-things. It came with a small packet of silicone lube, so you can use it with silicone even though the instructions say that silicone lube may cause it to have an odor. I'm not a fan of silicone lube, personally, I don't like the greasy feeling, but you can use these with whatever you like.

The toy is packaged in a simple yellow box with a clear plastic shell. It was very easy to open and came with instructions, which were thorough even through the (amusing) broken English, since these are made in Germany and the instructions are in about 16 (I didn't count) languages. I guess you could store them in the box if you really wanted to in the plastic shell, but I don't.
