Where's the vroom?
Sex In Shower Waterproof Silicone Vibrator is one of the only truly waterproof vibes that I have ever come across. But the vibrations are so weak that it's not even worth bothering with it.Published: October 9, 2011
Pros:
is actually water proof
Cons:
very weak vibrations
I am very much a bath girl. There is something about taking a nice hot long bath and enjoying a bit of masturbation. But most vibes that say they are waterproof aren't that waterproof. They leak a bit or just aren't as tight on the battery pack.
I wasn't totally sold on Sex In Shower Waterproof Silicone Vibrator.
Sex In Shower Waterproof Silicone Vibrator has a plastic handle and a silicone head. Do not use silicone based lubes with this vibe or it will gunk it up really badly and make the toy unable to be used properly. There are ten vibration settings. There is two buttons on the handle of the vibe. One of them controls the different vibration settings and the other is the on and off button. It takes two AAA batteries that don't come with the vibrator. It is easy to clean up with toy cleaner or soap and water. Also if you are sharing it, make sure that you use a condom on it to keep everyone safe and healthy.
The Sex In Shower Waterproof Silicone Vibrator is really waterproof. You can dunk it and not worry about leaks of any kind into the battery component. There is a cap over the battery section that is fitted and hard to pop out. There is a cord that helps you pull it out to get the batteries in or out. I have no problems just leaving it in the shower or bath.
The vibration patters are fun. There is full rhythms that it makes. Some of the rhythms sound like words. It is also whisper quiet. You could have someone in the next room and awake and you can play with it and no one will know unless you vocalize your joy.
The bad:
I really don't like vibes that have bulbs. It's a personal thing. I just don't like the way they feel at all. And the bulb of the @@@ is just the way that I hate them. That was a turn off for me.
The vibrations are also very weak. The low levels I couldn't feel at all. The strongest vibrations are hardly there. Some people like the low level vibrations but I don't like it at all.
I would love to see a better shaped and stronger version of Sex In Shower Waterproof Silicone Vibrator.

Quote: This looks cute. How well does it work? There are quite a few reviews on it. That's probably the best place to start & then ask if you have any specific questions. :)

Lelo Much?
-
So I've found that more and more I recognize the color scheme and patterning in sex toys that are not from the Lelo brand as imitating the Lelo brand.
I know that Lelo does not have a patent or anything on the scheme, but to all of us who are familiar with sex toys, it is recognizable. I know I sometimes wonder why they would do it. I mean, I guess they are drawing in some customers who subliminally associate the scheme with luxury and good craftsmanship, but in the end they are still associating that stuff with LELO. Why don't companies come up with their own scheme or look that is recognizable?
Thoughts? -

However, I am not sure what the retail will be for this one, yet. These are not rechargeable like LELO products. In fact, this one takes 2 AAA batteries. So, I even question the ability to be as powerful. I've requested it to try out. Guess we will see if it is close or not. ;)

I'm sure I will once I own one though.

I think a lot of folks are trying to raise their bar to be on the level as LELO as they seem to be coming out as the leading brand for quality and luxury. Maybe someone who thinks the Mona is too much, might like something like this better as it's battery powered and may not be as strong? (???)
I may not be as much help, and I do think that perhaps copying a color scheme is probably not a great idea, but if companies are aspiring to compete with the best (based on others' opinion), then that just translates to more toys for us!
