Xtreme Light Show Bullet
Published: September 5, 2009
useful review
For the price I don't feel it's worth it. I've had orgasms come easier to me with the simple $10 silver bullet. I'm not a fan of patterns so that function is lost on me. From what I have read in other reviews, it is possible that the hand-pack's power is inconsistent. Maybe it is a little less than last year's model, or maybe it varies slightly from one to the other. While the power level isn't the biggest detractor for me, I could overlook other faults if it got me off with ease.
Pros:
Variety, if you like patterns. More advanced hand-pack.
Cons:
Inconsistent quality. Garish, distracting lights.
Experience
I was a little let down with the oomph of this bullet. With all of the high raving reviews, I expected more. Not a lot more, mind you, but just a little more.
I'm not really a fan of the pinpoint variety of vibrators. Either for my clit or for my g-spot. When it comes to my clit I prefer vibrations that are deeper and a vibrator with a bit more surface area - both contribute to a greater stimulation of the portion of the clit that is inside the body - which is to say, most of the clitoris.
With the particular bullet that I received, I had consistency issues. It seemed that when the wire was angled a certain way, the vibrations would cut out. I couldn't replicate this consistently though so even the inconsistencies were inconsistent!
The red lights on the hand-pack are not just flashing - no they rival any arcade game. I have a very short video clip in the review on my blog of what it looks like in action. Since I don't have electrical tape I can't verify this, but if the lights are the only thing deterring you you might want to try covering that part of it up with black electrical tape. Sure, it takes away from it aesthetically. But does that really matter in the end?

BUT, seeing as everyone says this is the best darn bullet in the world, I was wondering if maybe it was an exception to this rule?
But I've heard of others having much worse luck.
Anyone else have any suggestions?
One of my newest acquisitions is called "Pyrex dildo mini latty pocket rocket" -- it is seriously in need of a nickname.
I think I'll call my toy 'pete'.
