Yes, I've Always Had A Tail Coming from My Vagina

This is a very comfortable and easy to use set of vaginal balls. The large balls encased in a silicone sleeve allow for easy insertion and removal. During use, these exercise the PC muscle, allowing for it to constrict more tightly during orgasm, among other benefits. The tail may not be very reliable to use for retrieval, as it does stretch a lot and may rip. Instead, users should bear down on their PC muscle for release. Beginner and intermediate users may find these the most beneficial.

Use

Dare Devils is a set of silicone encased weighted balls used for exercising the PC, or Pubococcygeus, muscle. Exercising this muscle can aid in tightening the vaginal canal and increase the ability to control contractions during orgasm. Simply lubricate the pair of balls and slowly insert into the vagina until only the devil tail at the end is sticking out and they will do the rest of the work.

There are some precautions to keep in mind when using this toy. Do not insert these anally, as they may very easily become stuck and earn you a trip to the ER for removal. Use for prolonged periods of time may cause these to "stick" to the vaginal walls, causing very painful removal. To be on the safe side, these should be removed after an hour of use at the most.

Since the Dare Devils are inserted almost completely for use, they can be used almost everywhere, including while showering or running errands. I have not noticed them slipping out at all due to gravity, even when I used them during a regular work out.

Material / Texture

Dare Devils are covered in two different materials. Most of the body, in red, is covered with a soft, non-porous medical-grade silicone. Like other silicone toys, Dare Devils does attract a lot of lint. There are two cutouts on each ball in the shape of hearts that show black plastic underneath. Peeling back the edges of the cutouts reveals that the entire ball is made of smooth black plastic. I do not feel the balls are fully removable from the silicone, though, since it is a very tight squeeze to roll even a little of one ball out. The plastic balls are very firm and have absolutely no give to them. Both the plastic and the silicone are phthalate free and hypoallergenic. I could not find any information as to what materials were used to make the weighted balls inside. The tail and the area between the two balls is just hollow silicone, which is very flexible and stretchy.

The only texture to the silicone is a flame design around each heart cutout. While it is easy to feel with my fingers, I actually did not feel the texture at all while inserting the balls. There is also a very light seam running the length of the toy that isn't very noticeable and also cannot be felt during use.

Directly out of the package, this does have a very light odor, though after being washed a few times and left out in open air, the scent does go away. I can only smell it if I hold these right under my nose. I did not notice any flavor to Dare Devils, though.

Design / Shape / Size

I love the design of Dare Devils. While the shape isn't all too much different than other silicone/plastic exercisers, the little tail, hearts, and flame texture make it much more unique looking. I feel the smoother design of these makes them much easier to insert and remove than Smart Balls, which are approximately the same size. Those took a lot more wiggling and working at it for me to get them comfortably inside of me.

The smooth silicone encasing the balls also made for very easy retrieval. To remove them, I simply laid on my bed with my legs spread and knees bent up, arched my back a little, and pushed with my muscles. The balls pretty much popped right out without me having to pull on them at all. I do not feel I would fully trust the tail as a method of retrieval, since it does stretch a lot and may eventually rip if it is pulled too much.

Each ball is about 4 1/2 inches around. From the tip of the tail to the end of the bottom ball, Dare Devils measures 7 inches long, with 3 inches of that being just the tail. Approximately 5 inches can be inserted while still leaving a good amount of the tail hanging out for retrieval. The size of Dare Devils is pretty good and will probably be suitable to beginner or intermediate users. The packaging states that these are intermediate size, though I was able to use them comfortably having only used vaginal balls a couple of times before. Advanced users may prefer balls that do not come attached or may wish to use larger balls.

I do feel these are pretty discreet. While dildos and vibrators often end up looking like sex toys, many people may not even know what these are at all. A visitor casually glancing at these may think this is something as simple as a contact lens case. Since these are small, they can be easily tucked away between pillows or mattresses, or in a purse or dresser drawer. I feel these are also suitable for travel, due to the small size and tough material. Airport security may not give them a second glance.

Performance

Dare Devils performs well as a vaginal exerciser. After being rubbed with about a quarter-sized amount of lube, I have absolutely no problems with insertion. After insertion, they are so comfortable I forget I have them inside me. The only thing that reminds me of their presence is the feeling of the tail occasionally rubbing against me. The weighted balls feel like very light vibrations as they roll around inside. Putting a hand over the area below my belly button, I can feel them rolling around inside a little.

My partner and I have tried putting these in before we have sex, letting them work my muscles for about half an hour. After removal, he says my muscles are much tighter inside of me and feel as if they have more powerful contractions during orgasm. I feel women post-pregnancy may benefit a lot from this, since their muscles may be stretched out from child birth. Those with a small amount of incontinence may also experience a better ability to control urine flow after using these balls.

Before use, I felt a little concerned about losing these inside of me and having to go to the ER to have them removed. However, when it came time to push these out, my muscles pushed them out very easily and painlessly.

Care and Maintenance

Dare Devils can be cleaned using soap and water or toy cleaner. Since the balls are made of lint attracting silicone, you may want to leave them to air dry, rather than toweling them dry. I store mine in the original packaging, since the packaging is pretty small. Dare Devils can also be stored in a plastic bag. Make sure not to store this with other silicone toys unless there is packaging or something covering each toy. Throwing silicone toys together can cause them to warp and melt together.

When using Dare Devils, make sure to use only water-based lubricants. Silicone-based lubes will also wreck the surface of the toy.

Packaging

Dare Devils comes packaged in a small plastic clamshell case. Also in the packaging is a black paper insert with very minimal information. It states basically that this toy is silicone, waterproof, and that the self-vibrating balls will burn about 32 calories an hour during use. There are no directions for use, which I would have found helpful. Even a couple of tips on easy insertion would have been nice. Warnings listed include: Do not fall asleep with this product inside of the body; Do not use for prolonged periods of time. Other than that, there isn't anything on the paper insert. There aren't even any images, so the packaging is pretty discreet and if someone were to find it, there is a good chance they would have no idea what this is.

I feel the packaging is a good choice for storage, since it seals moisture and dust out. It's also pretty small, measuring about 8 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide, so there isn't a ton of extra packaging around the balls. Just what is needed to keep them clean.

Follow-up commentary
I still like the Dare Devils balls. They're comfortable, easy to use, and really require no effort from me. They have held up just fine since my original review. I was a little worried that the tail would snap off after a few uses, but it hasn't.

I confess, I've been looking over all the various options and your review sold me.... with the image of a little devil tail coming out of my vagina.
