Pink is a beautifully packaged, feminine silicone lubricant for those who like their accessories pretty as well as functional. Despite its feminine appearance, though, it is one of the better silicone lubes out there, and works wonderfully in water.

useful review
I will admit, the main reason I decided to try Pink Silicone Lubricant for Women was because of its lovely packaging. It is bottled in a lovely glass bottle (which makes me slightly nervous) and looks like a bottle of perfume. So even though I am not generally a huge fan of silicone lubes, pretty marketing won out over me and I decided to give Pink a try.

Pink is easy to dispense from a pump-top on the bottle; it is, however, slightly on the thin and runny side, so you may have to be careful when dispensing it (especially if you are holding the bottle and do not want to drop it!). The lube is extremely sheer, but maintains its slickness quite well, especially in water play. It is also hypoallergenic and caused no irritation to my skin at all. Pink is by far one of the cleanest feeling lubes I have ever tried—it does not become sticky, stringy, or tacky at all. Even while writing this review, I put a little on my hand to test its consistency; I was then able to just rub it into my hands without having to go wash them and without any residue left behind. Pink maintained its slickness through test sessions with several different toys, both in and out of the water, but virtually disappeared into my skin when playtime was over.

Pink contains Vitamin E and Aloe Vera to help moisturize the skin, and I am even finding it to be an effective and comfortable hand lotion! Pink is not meant to be ingested, but it is mostly tasteless and completely odorless. Remember, please, that it is a silicone based lube, and for that reason, incompatible with silicone-based toys. For glass, metal, or good old flesh on flesh play, however, Pink works extremely well. It is not quite up to the standards of Eros Bodyglide for me, but it comes in a close second as silicone lubes go.

Nice review. This sounds like a nice lube. All of my toys are silicone, but once I get some metal/glass toys I might pick this up!

I want to try pink. And I love silicone lubes, so this may just be perfect for me. Thank you for the review!

Coralbell is correct - it is however a really great silicone lube in my opinion :) It's one of my favorites.

  • What toys are not safe with silicone lubes?

I heard that certain lubes can't be used with certain toys. Can someone tell me how this works?

Hi Venus - basically, silicone lube and silicone toys are not compatible because they react with one another (silicone may also leave stains on bedsheets and upholstery), but water-based lubricant is fine with any material and usually won't stain anything.

Why would anyone use silicone-based then, you might ask. Silicone-based tends to last longer and not dissolve in water (great for a jacuzzi quickie), whereas water-based is easily washed away or absorbed, which means it won't be as effective as silicone-based over long sessions. Silicone-based also has a nice silky feel, which some people prefer.

      Hope this helps!
    • Other considerations: Silicone lube should not be used with cyberskin or jelly toys, either, as it will melt them. When using lube with condoms or anything containing latex, avoid lube with any kind of oil.

Basically, it's a good idea to stick to water-based lube for use with any kind of toys!
